Samurai Champloo In a Nut Shell : From the Creators of Cow Boy Bebop,from Anime Inside its called the Spirtutal Sequal to CowBoy bebop. With fast paced fighting scenes set in the Edo period, getting chased by authorities,crashing houses and whole towns, chasing after big boobed woman, being sold as hookers. Touching on real History with a bit of fiction. Its one funny roller Coaster after the next.
Characters: Theres alot of minor characters,that we all can identify with a bit. But the three pain characters are
Mugen: Rusky looking fellow,with a bit of whiskers,dark skin,dark eyes,and a big bob of hair,he has a set of weird clothes to match. With a totally mind blowing fightning technique,he mixes sword play with break dancing,and just seems to be everywhere at the same time. Hes rude,loud, and blood thirsty and is set out to kill anyone who migth be strounger then him((i.e.main target for now Jin)), with a weak spot for big boobed ladys. ((yea hes a pervert))
Jin: The no nonsense man of the story. With traditonal samurai clothes, glasses that he dosne't actually need,to me a weird face structure, and he has his jet black hair in a formal pony tail. He only speaks when he needs too, and has a dark looming past that always seems to come back to haunt him,in the form of old fellow pupils wanting of revenge, he wanders around looking, but he dosne't really know what hes looking for. His fighting style is as traditonal as he is, no openings,planned out,quick, hes also set out to kill Mugen,the only man he seems he can't kill.
Fuu: Our beloved heroine, she always says the rigth things at the wrong times. She usually a hostage one way or another,and is pretty helpless when you think about it. Buts she clever and witty at times, a bit vain, and can eat a ton,and isn't afraid to show her bad side,yelling at Mugen and Jin to sotp fightning,dragging them all around Japan, but all around a totally sweet loveable girl. And we do all love her very very much, with her choclate brown eyes,pale silky skin,her cute brown shoulder length hair put up with little chopsticks. She wears a cute pink kimono. Shes a girl set with a strange goal and a obsession with sunflowers, and a sad past that drives her to it.
Momo: Okay, really. Momos an animal,but the little flying squirrel desevres a little profile. Hes a small ligth brown furry critter,with a red moon on his chest. He belongs to Fuu,and seems to help once in a while, hes pretty much the mascot of Samurai Champloo.
Plot The plot is basic,but really its complicated as well its set in the Edo Period of Japan,the time of kings and emperors, samurais and ninjas. Fuu had been working in a tea house,after her mother died a year ago. When one faithful day mugen showed up, promising to get rid of some bad guys form the tea hosue in exhange for alot of dangos.So Mugen goes all out, and Jin shows up,and Mugen attacks him. They keep on fighting,and eventually the tea hosue burns down. Now after alot more trouble and such,Fuu tricks Mugen and Jin to help her search for the Samurai the smells of Sun Flowers. Thats where all the trouble begins crimnals running about getting into halirous situations,kick a** fighting scenes,and deep dark secerts.
Music Proubly the best God damn music used for naime of all time. Its totally addicting,the opening song makes you wanna just start figthing,most of it is sung in english. Back Ground Music usually has a beat boxing theme to it. But always,ALWAYS the msuic sets to the mood of scene totally perfectly. Its unreal.
art: Nothing fancy really, its realistic drawing, but the fighting scenes are totally in my opinion the best out of all action animes. Along with its brother Cow Boy Bebop. The shading,the color,texture,the faces,backgrounds. Its all done so well,it makes me want to cry.
Overall: If I could,I give it 10 stars. It desevres even more. This anime is like an icon of all great animes,it makes you dread thats its going have to end some time. You'll fall in love the first time you see it,and theres no going back. Its a shoe in for obsession and having an army of fans.
