Hey everyone, I am Alexa. I'm new, and just finished one of the best books I have ever read. It is called Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes by Chris Crutcher. It is very sad, losts of twists, but it keeps you turning the pages. Has anyone here read it?

I had to read it for one of my literature classes earlier this year. I found it rather dull at times, but it did pick up once Sarah's father started going psycho. One of the reasons why I didn't like it was all the focus on swimming... it's like enough already!

I did read it, but that was a while ago. From what I remember it was pretty good.
