[Another RP taken from the thread I thought it would be nice to log with family, friends and even new meets RP.
This one is open to anyone at this point with Lucy (Ripple), Chalce (Aps), Duke (Ripple), Xnah (Aps) On the Beach with Aatami (VG) Approaching and Jasper (Ripple) and Kirgha (Aps) Alone.
Just throw in whoever you want some friends for into the Beach part, more pets may be added later.] Jasper: ~Sat next to Kirgha, nuzzling her cheek and whispering mischievous things in the kids absence.~Kirgha: -Stretches out now that the kids are grown. Moves close to Jasper and smirks when she hears the things, blushing a little- You're a bad dragon... -Giggles- Jasper: Ohyes, In need of much punishment! ~Snickers and nibbles behind Kirgha's ears, whispering about other things he thinks he's in need of~ Chalce: -Nuzzles her back and watches her for a moment, when he sees her sit down he gives her a look like she should go closer to him. Turning his head he sees his parents- gonk
Kirgha: -Purrs and giggles, her face red as she nuzzles against him- Well then... I guess I shouldn't keep you in distress then... should I? Jasper: Narp! ~Grins and jumps to his feet, whisking Kirgha up and off into the bushes next door~ Hehe ~Rustles Rustle~Chalce: -Head to paw- I don't need anymore siblings... aren't four enough? Sheesh...
Kirgha: -Chuckles and licks her son behind the ear- Bye Chalce! -Is whisked away by her husband- Lucy: ~Comes back after a mini hunt, looking around curiously only seeing her Eldest brother~ Eh? Where is every... ~Rustle Rustle~ Ah... I don't think making babies is their main provocative... ~Shudders and takes her meal to the lake~Chalce: Ugh... doesn't mean it won't or can't happen... -Slinks off near Lucy-
Kirgha: -Bush rustles and giggles- Lucy: True I suppose.. but we can hope ~Snickers~ Besides after us you really think they'd want anymore? ~Turns back to Chalce, whilst still padding along, with a grin.~
Jasper: ~Snickers and suggestive moans~Chalce: Eh... isn't it our turn to have kids anyway? And I don't know... I know if I were them I wouldn't want anymore... at least... not mom... I think she has enough on her plate with just dad. ><;; -Hides face against his paws-
Kirgha: -Giggles- Not there Jasper!
Chalce: O.O ...... Lucy: ~Snorts~ Kids? Us.. ~A little shocked as it hits her~ God... I guess so... ~Reaches the lake far enough away to only hear the faintest rustles and giggles~ Dad got better though, I mean... for your guys. ~Scrunches up her maw as she pokes at the rabbit meal~ Chalce.. Do you want kids? I mean be a dad....
Jasper: ALWAYS there! ~Cackles~Kirgha: -More giggling, louder this time-
Chalce: Eh... -Turns his attention from the noises to Lucy- Sure.. I want kids. Don't you? -Watches her curiously- Lucy: ~Ponders Briefly~ I dunno I guess... I mean It can't be that hard... Mum and Dad managed us four and we turned out alright...Chalce: -Nudges her gently- What's wrong Lucy? Lucy: Do you think... I mean... You three, mum and dad are all fine... But I'm ill.. ~Grits her teeth~ If I ever do have kids do you think they'll inherit and if so... ~Closes her eyes and wavers her head a little~ I've only just learnt to manage my own...Chalce: Hey Lucy... if you have the scare of caring it on than anyone in our family does.. -Frowns and pulls her into a hug- Besides.. you have a family that cares about you Lucy.. and we'll always be here to help you as much as we can, that includes any kids you might have. At least.. I know that I'll be here to help. Lucy: ~Hesitates but hugs him back~ If only we knew what to watch for... If we could just speak to mum and dads parents then we'd know if my weakness is the only one. I do appreciate all the help I do but I want my kids, all our kids to have a childhood like you guys did and not sat on the sidelines, besides you'll have kids before me! ~giggles~ How are you and Tropica?Chalce: It doesn't mean you won't have kids Lucy.. nor that you shouldn't. I think you'd be a great mother. Me and Tropica... -Voice trails off- I dunno exactly... we've been having a lot of problems lately. Lucy: It's part of life, I expect I will someday, who knows! Problems? Here we go again ~Rolls her eyes mentally~Chalce: Yeah... -Sighs- I dunno... she was sweet when we were kids... but after we became adults she just... -Growls a little- I have to wonder sometimes if it's a good idea.. I mean.. us being together and all... Lucy: Well people do change but perhaps somethings is bothering her? I don't know her very well but she did seem to make you happy, maybe ask her out right to stop, tell her how she makes you feel, from the heart you know. If you love her you can't give up that easy, God I'd never let go if he loved me...Chalce: -Lets out a breath he had hidden in his lungs- I do love her... but I can't take being put down all the time... I told her during the argument today that she needed to stop... Lucy: ~Starts to sing though she has no clue where she'd picked up the lyrics~ Take a little time to think things over, make a little space just on your own ~Clears her throat~ Sorry I just mean maybe take a few days away to think, let her muse over what you've said, she'll either come to her senses and you'll live happily ever after or she'll end if for you... ~Smirks~Chalce: I guess you're right.. -Lays his head down between his paws- What about for you...? Don't you have someone special? Lucy: ~Freezes slightly, it had only come up once before and typical as her family where the topic had moved on before she'd had a chance to answer, but as it was just the two of them looked like she had no such luck this time~ Me well... ~Smiles brightly~ I do like someone I see him whenever I can but... ~She hesitated, he was quite a lot older than her and she had no clue how he felt~ I guess he's just a special friend right now.Chalce: -Glances in her direction for a few seconds before giving her a light brotherly kiss on the cheek- Luce.. you know.. if he knows you the way that we know you... than he'll love you.. and if he doesn't... well, he's the one missing out. Lucy: You think so? ~Smile appears back on her face as she continues~ Even if he doesn't like me the same way I'd still like to stay friends, I'm in no hurry and honestly other than you guys he's.. ~Blushes a little~ ...my only friend... So I think I'd probably miss out more...Chalce: Yeah, I really do think so. -No hesitation in his voice at all- You know though... I'm in the same vote as you... I don't have any friends other than Tropica.. Maybe.. Maybe we should get out on the Isle a little more and meet some more lions and dragons. Lucy: You sure having your sister about wouldn't cramp on your style? ~Chuckles~ Seriously though I think it's a good idea... I do enjoy you guys and Charming's company but it never hurts to have some more friends. ~Leans down and chomps down some of her snack.~Jasper: ~Squeaks and chuckles as the bush stops rustling~Chalce: -Smirks a little- I think I lost my style as soon as my parents slunk off to the bush. -Chuckles- He has a name.. eh? -Has to tease as he nudges her- Besides... can't be too bad since all we're trying to do is meet others. Not like we have the intention of being with them.
Kirgha: Told you I could do it.. -Grins as the bush rustles one last time before her head pops out- Lucy: Most people do have these things called names ~Grins and nudges him back, finishing off her snack as he continued to talk~ Mm ~Licks her lips and brings her head back up~ Well they're still young and in love and I guess it's only natural for them to still enjoy there time alone ~Snorts and shrugs off the topic, thought she tried not to show it, it did still freak her out slightly~ Be warned I'm quite picky about who I wish to share my time with ~Smirks and gets to her feet~
Jasper: I still don't believe you, you'll have to prove it to me again ~Grins with a wink~ Chalce: Ugh... I don't even want to think about mom and dad... -Shudders before finishing his sentence. Smirking for an instance- Does that mean I should feel privileged that my little sister is spending time with me?
Kirgha: -Smirks and twaps Jasper playfully with her tail as she tries to comb down some of her mangled fur- Lucy: If it helps you sleep at night ~Grins and head back to the family, proud she'd summed her reply to both his comments up with only a few words.~
Jasper: ~Head pops out of the bush swiftly followed by his paw as he made his previous statement~Chalce: Eh... -Looks off towards where his parents are appearing- Maybe we should go before they find us...
Kirgha: Naughty boy. -Licks Jasper's cheek- Lucy: ~Turns and Blinks a few times~ Want to go to the Beach now?
Jasper: ~Gnaws playfully on the side of her neck~ YOUR naughty boy ~Snickers~
Chalce: Yeah... sounds like a plan. -Gets up and waits for her-
Kirgha: -Purrs and nuzzles up against him- I like you being my naughty boy.
Lucy: ~Pads quickly back to her brother's side and with a nod begins to work her way to the beach~
Jasper: ~Growls under his breath at the nuzzles~ Do you know what that means? ~Closes his eyes to enjoy it further and grins~Kirgha: What's that? -Tilts her head, acting as though she doesn't know-
Chalce: It means that both of you are very gross... -Says under his breath as he follows Lucy to the beach-

[Lucy and Chalce arriving on the beach, Open from this point]
Lucy: ~Stretches out her paws and looks about upon arriving at the beach~ Now what?
Jasper: That means your my cheeky sexy minx! ~Cackles and tickles her all over~Chalce: I guess we could start looking around to see if there is anyone else to talk to..
Kirgha: -Squeaks and falls over, giggling from being tickled- No fair!
Xnah: -Sits in a tree overlooking the lake- Eh.. so those are your parents? -Gives an unimpressed expression- Lucy: Right... ~Peers about a little dubious but brings her eyes to Chalce and feels reassured~
Jasper: ~Omnomnom's Kirgha all over~ All is fair in love and war!Chalce: Eh? -Looks up into the tree where he sees the gray lioness-
Xnah: So you two are Jasper and Kirgha's offspring... I feel kind of sorry for both of you. What are your names?
Kirgha: -Squeaks while giggling loudly, rolling around on her back- Lucy: I'd probably feel sorry for us two if I looking at it from your point of view ~Smirks and nods towards her brother~ This is Chalce and I'm Lucy, and they're not half bad you know...
Jasper: ~Glomps and pins her down, licking all over Kirgha's face~ Mine Mine Mine!Xnah: -Shrugs- I knew the both of them when they were cubs... Your mother is okay I guess... your father.. gets on my nerves.. no offense. I couldn't imagine why she liked him back then, I still can't imagine why she wanted a family with him. Anyhow... it's nice to meet both of you.. I'm Xnah Jinn Xuspan.
Kirgha: -Squeals- Jasper! Stop it! -Squirms- Lucy: Good for you, obviously we didn't know them then, but we know them now and you'd be surprised how much dad's changed, I'm sure it'll be a pleasure Xnah Jinn...
Duke: Saucepan ~Snickers as he wanders in~
Jasper: ~Licks once more then stops smiling brightly he flops his weight down and hugs her~ I love you...Xnah: -Chuckles- Sarcasm... I like it. You have spunk little Miss. -Hears the voice and instantly turns around- Duke! -Pounces on him-
Chalce: Eh... -Growls at Xnah a little-
Kirgha: -Purrs as she returns the lick to his cheek, curling her tail around his- I love you too Jasper. Duke: ~Is flattened by the fully grow lioness whom just pounced on him from a tree~ Ouf Hello thar Lassie your getting big....
Lucy: ~Shrugs and Blinks at the pair, now that was a show of affection if she ever did see one~ Little miss already introduced herself ~Grin~ Again if you missed it and for our new arrivals, Lucy. So... you two like a couple?
Jasper: ~Rolls off and winds his tail back around his mates~ Still? Wow I'm a lucky fella!Xnah: -Smirks and licks his cheek- You disappeared on me... -Wiggles her tail around- So getting squished is punishment. -Doesn't get off. Eyes suddenly widen when she hears Lucy- Eh??? Heck no... no offense to the old dragon but he's not exactly my taste...
Chalce: -Whispers to Lucy- I think it's one of those strange denial things...
Kirgha: -Pins him slightly so she can lay her head on his chest- What do you mean still? Of course I do Jasper. -Purrs- Duke: You didn' need me anymore lass, old geezer like me woulda just got in your way. ~Turns a cold stare at Chalce and Lucy~ Duke may be old but he can still hear just fine.
Lucy: ~Snickers and whispers back~ They're sure acting like a co.... ~Decides to stop when noticing the glare, changing the subject and avoiding Dukes eyes~ So Xnah, If he's not your kind what is?
Jasper: ~Leaves his chest wide and open for her head half expecting it.~ Maybe you'd finally come to your senses and realised how stoooopid I am I dunno, just checking ~Strokes her head gently~ Always good to know!Xnah: Of course I needed you! -Frowns- You're starting to sound like my parents... -Turning to Lucy- Truth.. you're more my type.. if you catch my drift.
Chalce: -Pulls his sister behind him, eying Xnah-
Kirgha: My senses? I know exactly what I'm doing Jasper... I know exactly who I love.. and I don't want to be with anyone else. -Nuzzles up against his chest- Aatami: -walking along the beach, his head bopping side to side pleasantly-Duke: Aw c'mon now don't make an old man feel guilty, I'm nothing like your parents. Last time I saw you, you had friends and all I just took a hint is all. ~Smirks~ And don't play the I needed you card again, been around long enough to see when it's not true. Saying that it's good to see you, I'm planning on sticking around for a while if you'll keep my company.
Lucy: ~Is slid behind Chalce about to poke her head out to make a comment but catches her drift and scrunches her maw dubious about the whole topic.~
Jasper: Then it's settled, you and me together forever babe. ~Pulls her in as close as possible and enjoys the closeness alone~Xnah: -Furrows her brow and growls a little- You've never learned to think more highly of yourself... I still wanted you around. And I wish you would have been around. There was no hint to take. -Pokes him gently with a claw. Looks over at Chalce and half laughs- I'm not going after your sister...
Chalce: -Snuffs- Remains to be seen.
Kirgha: Of course. -Giggles and wiggles slightly so she can get more comfortable- Duke: A'ight then lassie, if you say so ~Raises an eyebrow~ Hows about you let me up and I'll stick around? ~Grins~
Lucy: ~Peers her head out followed by a paw~ I wouldn't suggest it... I'm not that way in inclined nor do I particularly approve... ~Doesn't see the point in hiding it, she was here to make friends and there was no point in having friends that you had to keep secrets from~
Jasper: ~Lays back and enjoys the rays of the usual sunny day, with his love on him and the kids out~Xnah: Geez.. the both of you act like it's some crime to be gay. -Rolls up her eyes- I'm not hitting on little girly there, nor do I want to. No offense to either one of you... but I never thought your parents had a problem with things like that seeing as who raised them. -Glances back at Duke- Hmmm... to let you up or not to... -Gives a toothy grin before removing her paw and sitting back-
Chalce: -Sighs- Sorry... I just... -Shakes his head- I guess I have no excuse..
Kirgha: Mmmm... it's so nice now that the kids are grown... Aatami: -sees a group not too far away- Hmm...I don't recognize any of them. Well how could I? I've only seen my family and a few others. Should I go talk to them? -ponders as he walks, unaware that he's still looking at them-Duke: ~Pushes his weight forward to slide up and dust himself off, adjusting his jacket and peering at the two younger dragons~ Nout wrong with two ladies loving on each other, asides from the fact it means less for us lads ~grins and winks at Chalce~ More blocks for the single straight ladies mind ~Turns his grin to Lucy~
Lucy: ~Shrugs~ I dunno I'm not going to stop it or get in the way but it's not for me, It's just not natural in my opinion ~Rolls her eyes at the older dragon~ You know I never caught your name ~Grins back playfully~
Jasper: Yeeeees ~Smirks whist closing his eyes~ Soon they'll be finding mates, if they haven't already I suppose, leaving the home camp and we'll be alone. Who do you think will be last to go? ~Muses playfully~Xnah: Eh? You know... if I'm not mistaken... I remember hearing that your 'grandma' and aunt like ladies too. So you come from a line of it. Its just as natural as a male and a female. It isn't a choice. -Looks over at Duke and smiles a little more thoughtful, she had feared for too long that he'd hate her for it-
Chalce: Uhh.. -Blushes a little- I already have a lady.. -Looks at Lucy- Luce.. I think we should drop it..
Kirgha: I dunno actually.. though I have a feeling that Chalce will be the first to leave. He has your spirit. -Nudges Jasper gently-
Lucy: Grandma? I've never met anyone in mum or dads family, no Aunt was ever mentioned. Look I don't much care I'm entitled to my opinion like your entitled to yours I wasn't attempting to change your views I'd appreciate if you gave me the same curtsy. ~Stands her ground despite her brothers suggestion, she wasn't being rude in her own mind she was just stating her opinion and to her they were the ones who should stand down, trying to force their views on her.~
Duke: ~Sat quietly letting the youngsters do there thing, glancing at Xnah and defiantly noticing her growth, she was nearly a teen last he saw her now she was a fully fledged adult and didn't look like she'd changed much either.~
Jasper: I expect your right, my spirit? ~Nudges her back~ You mean the spirit that ended with the four of them hatching? ~Smirks~Xnah: -Chuckles- I see your parents didn't tell you much... Your parents were raised by the same dragoness who found the two of them, and another one.. as an egg, abandoned. Her name... was... -Thinks- Lupo... if I recall.. it was the two of them and another blue girl... Ripple I think. That would be the grandmother and aunt I was referring to. Not related by blood, but still.. Your parents were actually the odd ones in their family for being straight. -Pokes her nose with a claw- Regardless... you should learn respect... -Turns her head back toward Duke- So where exactly have you been...?
Chalce: -Blinks, wondering if any of that was actually true-
Kirgha: -Blushes- Uhh... I guess you could say that.. though with that attitude you're acting as though we're going to be grandparents soon. ^^;; Aatami: -shrugs- Dad would want me to make friends outside the family. -walks over to the lion and dragon group boldly with a friendly smile-Duke: Here and there, trying to seek out some old drinkin' buddies ya'know the usual. ~Turns back to Lucy, deciding now was a good time to change the subject before a cat/dragon fight happened, not that he was against a good fight he just expected that Xnah being bigger would easily come out the victor.~ Duke's the name. ~Nods~
Lucy: ~Mumbles something inaudible before nodding back to the older dragon, taking his cue and deciding to ask her parents about this Lupo and Ripple later~ Duke? That's unusual... So I got to ask... how do you two know each other? ~Peers between Xnah and Duke not feeling in the slightest bit awkward~
Jasper: Aren't we though? I mean they're all out more and more and by this age we already had them ~smirks~ We'll probably be the youngest grandparents around ~Snickers and fiddles with her town with his own~To be continued in thread. (Or here if your lazy xP)

Aatami: -boldness falters a bit when he's a few steps away from the group- They look like they're doing just fine on their own, they probably have no interest in me. If they haven't noticed you by now they probably wouldn't if you were standing right next to 'em. I guess I do sorta blend in with the sand, but not THAT much. -hears a familiar name come up in the conversation- Lupo? Ripple? You know them?

Lucy: ~Turns towards the new voice and tilts her head slightly, staring almost straight through them~ Apparently I'm supposed to. ~Rolls her eyes and sighs, it seemed the beach held secrets that she really wasn't very interested in knowing about~
Duke: ~Sits back upon the arrival of the new comer not knowing the two personally, but decides to greet the fella before another heated discussion starts~ Howdy mate, can't say I do, whats your name?

Duke: No Bother at all lad, It wasn't any sort of private conversation I think. ~Looks about the group confidently before offering the lad a welcome smile~ I'm supposing you over heard me name eh?
Lucy: ~Still staring at the new dragon, looking him over and deciding she probably ease up on him, he only offered those two names which seemed to be plaguing her now~ Lucy, and no I'd say it's a pretty open conversation... ~breaks her stare to gesture at her brother~ This would be my brother Chalce.
