So teh Canadian elections went down last week & I voted for the first time!! Twas very exciting.
Although the person I voted for didn't even get a seat. D; I feel like my vote was a waste. Oh well.
Politics are a touchy subject, but I hurr that the American elections are going down as well. Anyone got an opinionnn?

Ugh. I don't fancy either candidate. ...But Obama is a Marxist, which will screw us up beyond belief, so I guess McCain by default.
I'm not old enough to vote yet, though.

You lucky redcoat. I'm getting so tired of hearing the name Obama and McCain, and all that other political jargon! As much as I respect John McCain for his efforts in the Vietnam war, I think I'd have to go with Obama. I tend to agree with his responses to the issues a little more.

Halloween!!! The only reason I really am getting involved in this election is because I'm finally able to vote. Yeah, I know the whole 'vote for change' slogan is a little overated now, but that is why people vote. They want change.
I have a few favorite quotes from this election though:
"I've got a pen! This one's kinda old, but I've got a pen. And I'm goin to veto ever single spending bill[...]" - John McCain, the pen was a sharpie. He had a sharpie at each of the debates...but why a sharpie? What's wrong with a normal pen?
"...you can actually see Russia from land, here in Alaska!" - Sarah Palin "And I can see Russia from my house!!" - Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on SNL
"Say it ain't so Joe, there you go again..." - Sarah Palin to Joe Biden about talking about the past policies
"You can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig." - Barack Obama
"You can't go to a 7-11 or Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking." - Joe Biden
"What Washington needs is Adult Supervision." - Barack Obama. I've been to DC, it's a very sad place, however they try and keep it otherwise. Actually, I think any big city should be supervised...they're very scary sometimes *coughtimessquarecoughcough*
I was fair and posed both stupid and funny comments from both sides and left out many of Palin quotes, because there are too many and too funny. I'm not a fan of her, obviously YAY!!

AHHHHH A SIPDER JUST CAME DOWN FROM WHEREVER BUT IT WAS UP HIGH. but it was tiny and i just killed it.
I don't know much about the election, all I know is that both partys kinda suck, olbama and palin can't answer a question and ACTUALLY ANSWER THE QUESTION, that everyone is like "olbama will change things!" but they don't know the actual "change" hes talking about (the change hes talking about could be america becoming a communist nation, or he might put us in a depression, he isn't specific with his "change"), and that john mcain and sarah palin are real mavricks! =D
and LOL@ meakos quotes. "you can see russia from alaska!!!" pfffffffffffft

McCain.
Pailin looks dumb, but she is a governor, while these two 'want-to-be" presidents are just senators.
I hate Palin with my whole entire being, but Obama wants to tax hike coropate america. That doesn't make sense.
It will hurt the individual.
I just hate politics.

I love McCain. Love the man. Don't always agree with him, but Obama makes me want to vomit so...
But Palin. I dunno. I like her but sometimes I think she just needs to sit down and shut up. And if she winks one more time or says 'hockey mom', I'm going to personally duct tape her to her down syndrome baby and send her back to Alaska. gonk I thought she was an asset at first but now.... -shrugs-
@Veg and Sammichly: You 2 are making me lol so much. XDD
