___Rasui scratched his chin thoughtfully, regarding the young woman. She seemed very guarded, but fairly upfront ... for lack of a better word, unafraid. She reminded him of Scarlett, almost. He didn't doubt for a moment that this little lady could become quite large and in charge if given the opportunity. ___"I am, I am." He smiled at her and nodded his head towards the trailer area. "My trailer is over yonder, I share it with my friend Shen." Usually when he and Shen performed it was late at night, for the more appreciating crowd. They weren't so well known, not quite yet. When they were able to gauge the worlds they visited better, they'd probably have earlier venues. Although they had a great act, what it entailed could set the audience on its ear, depending on their beliefs. Of anything, they didn't want to lose Cirque any money.
___"You're quite pretty." Rasui smiled at her, offering the compliment. He hoped it would ease her a little bit, or at least lessen the tension he was feeling rise.

Lucrezia narrowed her eyes at him again, trying to judge him better. While she was charmed by the complement, there was something generally a bit off-putting by his manner. Something that spent chills up and down her spine.
She thought she knew what it was. But she didn't want to say so, just in case his response was not as she hoped for. She glanced around, trying to think of a hasty retreat. As if in answer, the midway music cranked up and a few lanterns buzzed on, even though it was still the middle of the afternoon.
"Thank you, the offer of dinner sounds lovely, but I'll have to arrange that sometime later," she said quickly. "I have a show to prepare for."
She inclined her head to him in a sort of bow and and scooted past him back towards the main thoroughfare.
"Ehm, see you around, Rasui."
