So until I get a Toneport or a Shure SM57 microphone, all I can use to show you guys my stuff is Guitar Pro. Which is lame, but it works out. As soon as I get a spare $80 that isn't going towards something in particular that I want or need more than a TonePort, you won't have to deal with my compositions on GUITAR PROOOZ.
anyway, here's my first, which I just made up a few hours ago because the guy teaching our Guitar 2 class was giving us (i.e. everyone that can't play guitar as well as I can, as obnoxiously arrogant as that sounds) a fairly difficult minor pentatonic rock solo to play. It was a complete rip off of "Stairway to Heaven's Solo" and I was like, "Doctah Hornbaker, ninety percent of the people in this class can't play this, so I will go home and make up a simple yet challenging and melodic piece that you can use instead."
So here it is, and it is REALLY cool. Or at least I think so.
