It felt like it had been days.

When he had arrived it had still been light out, but that was at the base, the town. Not even Winter yet but the temperature was far below freezing. It naturally was, from the thin air, high altitude and, of course, the Tree of Frost. Within the town he had heard talk of things called "Frost Giants". There wasn't a lot he knew about such things, the different creatures in this world, and this was his first time even in this place.

Answers were so hard to find and that was what he wanted. Needed. That familiar sense still hadn't gone away from Loki. If anything, it had strengthened as his body did, their bodies did. He had caught up with the Esprit now... but he wasn't interested in fawning over his newly grown form.

Thoughts, nostalgia, memories, these had brought him to several places before he decided to just begin traveling. Any place he could go, he would, and he would stay there long enough for him to figure out if it was familiar or it was a bust.

His clawed toes dug into the white powder and he wished the downy fur hadn't ripped itself away from his previous form. Perhaps a hint...? Or maybe nothing. Konstantin had settled himself in front of a half-pillar, the center of which was budding with crystals. It was here he had remained for the last few hours, staring out to the night sky emblazoned with shining white flakes and gleaming stars. Meditation, some what. He allowed his mind to wander, eventually becoming blank so that he could attempt sifting around through his latent memories.

Sift until he could pin point why he always had that looming sense of shame over himself.

Why did he always feel so inadequate?
Even around Loki who made his defensive outer wall tumble down with that acquainted presence.

He had to find out...

Lori Lie huffs. Her new form has given her way more admirers in her old home. So she left. She gathered her bundle up and headed off. She followed a bunch of birds for awhile but now she can't see them over the clouds. All the clouds. And since when was it snowing? It was cold. With her new form she felt the cold so clearly now. Her little shoes making deeper and deeper impressions in the increasingly deeper snow. She wanders getting colder and colder.

She is so tired. She sits down under a tree. She opens her blue denim bag with a pretty dragon stitched on the smaller front pocket. She takes out her bed makings, grungy silk. She also puts on her pretty cross necklace for luck to weather this horrible place. She then tenderly takes out a basic wooden frame with a picture of two smiling people standing front of a building built into the side of a mountain, She smiles and strokes it before packing it away in the silk and brushing off the snow and grabbing at her cross when she smells... familiar... so so familiar. She follows her nose to a stranger under a tree. She cocks her head,"Hello?"

The cold was making it difficult to detect particular scents but this one was unmistakable.

Almost intoxicating.

"Hello?"

He opened up his eyes, not having to look far as there was a vibrantly colored form in front of him, just in the distance. Attractive blues and pleasing violets with lovely pale hair. Whoever she was, she didn't appear to be dressed adequately for the weather and location. Before he had traveled up further he had stopped to borrow a large fur jacket, which was currently wrapped around him almost like a blanket.

A nice wolfy bundle.

"Hello?" he returned, pausing for a response before standing. The cold was rough on his pads but he was appreciative for his lingering ability to float. His claws lightly dragged against the snow but the coat covered up his lower section quite well, hiding it.

Konstantin felt torn; distractions were not welcome to him at the moment, they were very displeasing, but this one... she most definitely wasn't a human which must have meant spirit, and she wasn't even one of the Esprits like Loki [despite their bond]. Never mind the fact that she smelled like a dream... damn his sensitive nose.

He was close now, close enough for him to see just how ill suited to this weather she truly was. For a moment he looked down at the coat, considering whether or not to share or hand it to her, but he left those thoughts alone for now.

"You are...?" it was hard for him to down play his interest.

Lori Lie smiles when he answers. She just needed the voice." You have changed a lot Kon." she smiles at him, all warm in his coat. She thinks jealously. He body betrays her and she shivers. It is so so cold out. Though she feels a lot better meeting a familiar face, A very 'nice' familar face. She grabs her cross for comfort. Sh also noticed his feet lightly drag. 'Not as far along' she notices 'I know he will get better with time, like a good wine'.

"You should know me." she says with a pout. He should. He even knew her as a phantom. She body shivers in jealousy of his jacket. She then decides to use what she had. She saunters over to him. "You look so cosy" she coos. "Mind sharing?" she comments as she grabs the front of his coat and opens it to cuddle to his warmth. She wraps her hands around him and moans as his warmth envelops her.

"You have changed a lot, Kon."

Yes... yes he had.

And now he knew for sure who this was, but the realization had left him momentarily dumbstruck. She had been stunning simply as a Phantom, and now that she had grown again... Like him, she had become more whole.

"You should know me."

"...Lie? Lori Lie?" hesitant was his response. Her presence was almost intimidating, though in a way that was completely foreign to him. He felt as though, once he pressed his feet back against the icy ground, he should strand up straighter, make himself look bigger. Silly, natural urges that she might over look anyway as her attention was already on him from the start.

There were no males to compete with, damn his origin.

"You look cosy in there. Mind sharing?"

He'd thought of it, of course, though he hadn't been sure until he truly realized who she was. Lie left him little time to respond, however, quickly opening up the coat and letting herself inside.

Well, that was that, he supposed. No fighting it now.

Gently, Konstantin removed his arms from the sleeves and moved them above the neck, tying the sleeves around the front as tight as he could manage before pulling his arms back inside, out of the frigid air. He wasn't quite sure what to do after that, his train of thought had been lost. Had she intended to come here? It was pure chance they had met, he was sure, but what of the cause?

"Why did you come here?" he hadn't meant it as a rude question and silently hoped it didn't come off as one, curiosity was just grabbing the wolf by the tail. Her attire, he noticed, was for moderate or hot weather, so it was a wonder how she had managed the entire trek to his current locale without freezing.

Lori Lie smiles and let out a squee of happiness. 'He knows me! I knew he would.' "Yes, yes, its me. I am back and I have missed you so." she coos. She snuggles closer when he ties the arms around them. 'How sweet, like wine indeed.' She grabs him in a hug and scoops his feet up and kneels on the ground so he is vaguely cradled on her lap.

She settles in to answer his question," What a way to greet me old friend." she muses with a pout. "Well, you see, I was,.. well following some birds, And I have NO idea why the went to a cold place, not warm, and well, I lost track of where they are, I assumed it was a storm and the clouds would go away soon. They didn't. So I wandered for a awhile just getting cold. And then I thought I sensed someone I knew. Looks like I was right." she says with a smile and wiggles her arms against the lining of the warm, warm coat. Her legs were cold, being in the snow and all, but still it hardly mattered. She was warmer than she had been in a while. Warm all the way to the core.

The wolf ghost's ears twitched slightly at her quiet display of happiness. He was a little confused why some one would be so excited to see him, but her statement cemented it.

"I have missed you so."

He couldn't quite say it, even in his mind, but the feeling was overwhelming. Missing? Yes, he had missed her, too. Her presence often filled an entire room, and here she was cuddled up beside him, filling up his mind. Strange how, when she's so close, she fills something in a non-physical way.

Intoxicating indeed...

"What a way to greet me, old friend."

Lie's pout was charming.

Following birds? She must have gone off course. If they were white birds, it would be an easy task to get them mixed up with snow flakes in the dark. Birds always got as far away from the cold as possible.

"You just decided to follow the birds?"

Konstantin couldn't help but smirk slightly. Yes, she was very right.

Her movement broke his thoughts. Looking down within the coat he noticed the blanket of white beneath them. "Here," he muttered, wrapping an arm around her waist and tugging the inside of the coat with his other hand. Pushing them both up to a stand he managed a short, low hover for the both of them.

Clutched between his claws, he tugged the bottom of the large coat beneath them and, as he lowered, the cold snow was blocked by warm fur under their legs. His tail wagged for a moment, pleased with his action and hoping she was, too.

"Is that better?" He didn't even bother removing his hand from her, it felt so comfortable there it was hard to register that it might bother her. But then again, maybe it didn't.

With the coat fully engulfing their bodies now, the heat of his own form was all the more evident. It provided him a slight natural protection against the low temperature, as well as acting, now, like a personal heater to Lie.

Lori Lie frowns," HEY! Wipe that smirk off your face" she punctuates the sentence with a swat to the head." and "YES, I did follow the birds, it worked before."

She gives a kidding glare, when he then shifts around so they aren't sitting in snow. "mmmmm yes." she mutters relishing in the warmth. She pulls up her hands to breath on them, while fog engulfing them quickly before replacing them to the hug position. "she snuggles closer to Kon and nestles her head on the crook of his neck," You are SOO hot." she mumbles against his neck while wiggling to get more comfy in the coat.
