Though the weather was lovely, the new mommy of two kyunru was inside the incense shop. Today was a break for her, as her hands had been full for weeks. Not that she was complaining, because she enjoyed every second with her children.
Sylvera was spending her break in the clubhouse, and while usually she relaxed there, today was another story. The kyun had decided to do something she had not done since she was very young, and something that she hoped her young ones would love, too. Eleven little cups were lined on the floor, each with a different color paint. There was lots of paper, and three bowls of water for paw cleaning. Paw painting! (Think finger painting for kyunru.~)
Her usual blind/ribbon that covered her eyes tied her hair in a bun, as did a second one for her tail. "I wonder if today I will have someone join me?" Smiling, she began to think of her little ones and company, and began opening the little cups to begin her art.

Chuu had not been in the Incense Shop in a very long time. He only had vague memories of the mystical environment and all of those memories had become a blur since hatching from his egg. As he entered the door, his eyes widened at all the colors, the creatures, and the many, many doors (hidden and otherwise) of the magical Incense Shop.
He continued walking and finally decided on a rather large door with scribbles on it. All letters looked like scribbles to him as Chuu had not learned the language of the humans yet. He pushed open the door and sitting in the center of the floor sat a rather beautiful Kyun. There was something elegant about her that Chuu was able to admire and she took Chuu's breath away.
Not being the rude type, Chuu asks her politely, "If.. if.. I may ask, what are you doing here missus kyun?"
Cursing his stutter, Chuu blushed in embarassment. What a way to start a conversation.

The sudden voice made Sylvera jump, despite knowing that she might have company. Spinning in her spot, cerulean eyes drifted down to a smaller kyunru with eyes just barely darker than her own. He was young, but months older than her own little ones. Looking over him, she noted how angelic and colorful he looked. Not to mention the fact the he had a horn similar to hers.
"Why, hello there!" she exclaimed rather softly. Perhaps it was because she was still startled, or perhaps because it was how she talked to Adriel and his brother. "I decided to spend my free time today paw painting!" The older kyun seemed to beam brightly, though the event seemed to be much more suited for the youngsters.
Blushing, she thought better to explain than be thought of as an old pervert. "Um...I have two little ones back at home, and it has been a long time since I've done this." Taking the lid off some pink paint, she gently and carefully dipped her paw in, and placed it on the paper. "It's really simple, really. Guess I don't need much practice." So, Vera went from feeling like an old perv to a weirdo. Great.
"Maybe you'd like to join me?"

"I'm s-sorry if I scared you..", Chuu said quietly.
He nodded as she talked about her own little ones. Chuu had never seen another Kyun as little as he, only bigger ones. Hopefully, he too would grow up to be big and strong someday.
He looked on as the older Kyun opened a jar that contained colored... goo. His eyes widened in amazement as she stuck her paw in and began to rub it all over a piece of paper. This looked like it would be some fun!
"I'd love to join! Do you have any red?"

Nodding, Vera nudged over some red paint. Carefully she opened the top for him, and went back to her own work of art. The paw print had been turned into a heart, thought it did not seem quite as lovely as the one the younger kyunru had on his chest. It was gold, and elegantly designed.
Washing her paw into one of the bowls, she dipped into the red paint and began making another heart, and the start of a rainbow. Suddenly, she realized something that somehow she always forgot: introductions. Clearing her throat, Sylvera began to speak. "So, it's very nice to meet you. My name is Sylvera, by the way." Leaning over, she also added, "What's yours? Your name, I mean."
