So ye, I'm thinking of playing some legacy tournaments in my area, and I want to play a remotely decent deck. I do however, want to play False Cure, which isnt exactly a strong deck, but it should be good enough for what im taking it too. This is what I have so far:
Kavu Predator *4 Skyshroud Cutter *4 Quirion Ranger *4 Elves of Deep Shadow *4 Wall of Blossoms *4
False Cure *4 Invigorate *4 Shred Memory *1
Reverent Silence *4 Duress *4 Cabal Therapy *3 landgrant *4
forest *6 swamp *7 overgrown tomb *3
Sideboard I have hardly used so far, but something like: Xantid Swarm *3 Putrefy *4 Engineered Plague *4
Now obvious improvements would be upping overgrown tombs to 4, and putting in 4 bayous, but atm i cant get my mits on those. Landgrant would probably also do well to be replaced with fetchland, and maybe even just play 8 fetch and 8 dual / pseudo dual. This however, is something for later.
Ive played this deck a decent amount of times, and in general I'd say that the main problem is the lack of drawing into important cards. Theres numerous cards to solve this, but I'm not sure which to use, and more importantly what to take out. Im tempted by Street wraith and Desperate research, the first because its free and the second because I too often curse myself for needing "just 1 more card".
Now on to more specific problems of the deck, in general counter decks arent that big of a deal because of a pretty high tempo at which you can go off, coupled with duress and therapies. Decks that kill my predators however, usually leave me sore.
Another painful issue is "comboing" out on someone, them surviving on low life, but not having a proper way of finishing it off.
So what do you suggest? Thanks
