This subforum is the ultimate location for a large variety of awesome contests, giveaway threads, & other threads all devoted to the one thing everybody loves: free gold! This subforum contains both free gold resources in the guild & links to charities outside of Burn. This is also where almost all our contests are posted [really big contests will generally be located in the main forum for at least a period of time]. Participate in contests to win big prizes, or make your own! Feel much more than free to make your own donation thread, too!
As this subforum is named, all contests, charities and giveaways belong in this subforum, not anywhere else. Ignorance and negligence of these rules would result in the locking or deleting of your thread.

• All guild rules are applicable and effective and in every aspect and area of the BURN guild. All the rules can be found in this thread.
• Gaia’s Terms of Service are to be abided by at all times, and are mandatory above all else, without exception.
• If any of the aforementioned rules are found to be broken by any member of BURN, appropriate actions will be taken by the Crew Members of BURN.
• No Begging Threads - This is a subforum meant for contests and charities, and not for begging. Begging threads are not allowed nor encouraged in this guild, and will be locked and moved over to Chatterbox. It doesn't matter if you're asking politely or not, as long as they have elements of begging inside, they will be locked. This warning is stated very clearly, and will not be tolerated once a begging thread is discovered.
• No spamming - This is defined as posting nonsense & gibberish. Also posting styles with advertisements mixed in that obscure what you say or large advertisement links; please keep that in the Chatterbox. Small links to quest threads, or other things are allowed, but try to keep them in your signature. No MyBrute links, ever!
• No flamming - This pertains to all manner of abuse, rude behavior, and Personal Attacks. This also includes harassing someone who posts in the wrong Forum, or calling someone a Troll. We all have things we like & don't like. Don't be rude to someone who has vastly different, or even unreasonable taste, we can't all love Halo, or Twilight.
• No scamming - Such cases can be found frequently in subforums like these, hence please report to any BURN's Crew Members if you come across cases of scam, or even suspected cases!
• Misplaced Threads - If a Thread is in this Subforum by mistake, feel free to post in it as if it were in the right forum, it will be moved eventually. However, do not post in a thread just to say it's misplaced, instead inform a Crew Member / Member of the Advisory Board of Directors. Also, please note that Questing threads have a place of their own - the Questing Subforum.
• Commitment - If you want to set up a contest or charity, please ensure that you have the ability to provide the gold or prizes. Contests and charities need your commitment, efforts, time and mainteinance. Please do not create a giveaway, contest or charity if you do not have the ability to maintain one, or simply forget about the thread once you've posted it!
• Deadlines - All contests and giveaways must have a deadline that is stated somewhere in the original post of the thread. It must be determined in advance and be a specific date, not something general like "the end of March". Deadlines can be pushed back once as long as it's not more than two-three weeks away from the original deadline.
• Prizes - All contests must have predetermined prizes. It's not ok to say "prize: to be determined" or "prize will be 20k-50k, depending on how much I like it". Prizes can be increased after the contest starts, but at no time can a prize be decreased. Once you have determined the winner, you have one week to send the prizes to them. If you don't, the winner can file a report for a "scam contest" with B U R N , and you will be banned from the guild.
• Choosing a Winner - The winner or winners of the contest must be chosen by the specified deadline, from the available contestants. No exceptions will be made in the case of shortage of entrants, or the judges lack of preference for the entries.
• Lottery or Raffle - If you wish to host a Lottery or Raffle contest - which requires the payment of tickets ahead of time - , you must first PM the details of your proposed Lotto or Raffle to elysia x, Burn's official Captain in order to receive her 'official approval'. Often scams are discovered in such contests, hence we do monitor them with extra care.
• Buying; Selling or Exchange - As the subforum is named, it is the Free Gold Subforum. Hence, all the prizes, items or art pieces are supposed to be free. If you wish to sell them for profits, please post in the Gaia Life subforum , which is where all Mini-Shops & buying/selling/trading activity belongs.
• Do not over-bump - What do we mean by over-bump? That is, you do not have to bump your thread every fifteen minutes. Responses take time, and you can bump to simply keep it on the first page or something, but there's no need for you to make your thread has a thousand responses within a week.
• All rules are subject to change - Rules will be changed & updated as needed, the thread title will show when the rules were last updated. Ignorance and negligence of these rules would result in the locking or deleting of your thread.
