**Spoiler warning for Wolf's Rain**
Did anyone notice that when Sher/Cher (Sp?) died in Wolf's Rain that her ex-husband who still loved her did the same thing that Cloud did to Aerith when she died? He dropped her in some water and she slowly sank in. It looked familiar XD...and sad too...I cried a little...

It looked familiar XD...and sad too...I cried a little... did you also notice that when cloud let her go she sank EXTREMLY deeper than cloud was stankdin in and there was no edge? or drop?

I think at one point it was obvious, but no, I don't think I did notice. Maybe Cloud was standing on something? Like Yuna when she was standing on a tree root or something in that forest? Or was she not? It's hard to tell sometimes.

I still sometimes wonder why ppl decided to sink her body.
Wouldn't someone normally bury the body?? do the proper funeral??
I guess it was because they were in the middle of the saving the world situation??
Aaannd...I still wonder what happened to Zack's body..
I mean...Cloud just left with sword(and then he got dissonance fugue so he didn't remember Zack for a while) and I saw Zack's soul going up to the sky and all but what about his body?? gonk
And later in Advent Children, cloud put his buster sword in where Zack died...but that's like what, 9 years after he died??

Maybe it looks more emotional and heart-breaking than a burial... and probably more cleaner... were you interested in seeing Cloud in dirt?
If you factor into what happened to Kadaj in 'Advent Children' and Lazard in 'Crisis Core', then it's possible to say that Zack's body started to transform into particles to become one with the Lifestream...
Otherwise, you could say his body was probably given a bit of life just to go up into the sky into heaven... which is a pathetic reason to read, so forget that...
If you want to think literally, his body was left at that spot and began to disintegrate and rot like every other corpse we see in the real world... ...but no one wants to see that, right? xp

(I know her soul did cause I read "Girl who travels around the planet" )

Because when they made FFVII, they didn't intend for bodies to dissovle into lifestream (maybe).
