 People once believed, that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead.
Sometimes, something so bad happens, that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest.
Then sometimes, just sometimes the crow could bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.

 Victims, aren't we all?
The person the bird has revived is invulnerable to physical harm, but the crow itself is very susceptible to pain, injury, and even death. If the bird is killed, then the person is able to be hurt and killed as well. This is where this soul begins, when the bird was murdered by vengeance.
