Excited? Hell Yes! For what book? ALL of them!!! xd I read the first three chapters of Danse Macabre, and wow, am I anticipating that book!
Laurel K. Hamilton is a truely gifted writer. Sometimes I feel that she is leading Anita down the wrong path (you know, a path totally out of sync with her moral and personal character), but she always manages to find a way to make it believable, like, if I were in the same situation, what would I do? Usually, I come up with the same conclusions that Anita does. The Merry Gentry series kind of avoided that whole moral conflict from the beginning by establishing that sex and sensuality were in a ferie's blood, like instinct or just another form of social cement, instead of being something morally reprehensible or dirty. (Too bad our own society can't seem to learn that fact... rolleyes )
Oh, yeah, btw, I'm still here, more now than I was before (not having a high-wpeed connection SUCKS!!!) but less often than others.

Hi !! I'm new around here but love and have read the Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry books and I agree with the fact that sex was a go from the beginning in the Gentry and those are LOADS of fun to read !!! 3nodding I'm very excited about the new Blake book but it's not getting here soon enough for me !!!! crying I'll just have to make do with Mercedes Lackey for now. crying

I finally figured out all the new ins and outs of the new guild set up. It took me forever to get use to all the changes.

Im here ^_^ New & excited about there being a guild like this ^_^ & Ive read all of them past Danse Macabre...& not patiently at all awaiting the next AB book...tho the Merry Gentry will have to do in the fall & the Vampire chronicles as well...as well as impatiently awaiting the graphic novels- just cheaper in my opinion...^_O
