As students enter the classroom, they would see tiered seats in a half circle, with a single desk on the platform at wall facing the seats. They were carefully arranged in a stagger pattern, so no student would have their views blocked by anything in front of them. The seats were wood, with light padding, so the students were not uncomfortable, but not so comfortable that they'd fall asleep with ease. The desks were simple enough wooden desks, with a carefully carved well to place an inkpot in. They all had a small shelf under the seats, so they could place their bags and spare books.
The floor was a simple, deep blue carpet, comfortable to stand or walk on, and kept quite clean. The ceiling was either painted or Charmed to look like a lovely summer day. When it got dark, it was clear it was at least partly Charmed, because the sun cast a nice, warm light. The teacher's desk was an elegant piece, carved to look like the legs and corners were trees. The top of the desk held a stack of books in one corner, an inkwell in another, a stack of papers in the middle, and a single picture facing the teacher's seat. The chair was large, comfortable, and a deep red, figured with a silver moon on the head rest.
Professor Lithiyane was seated at her desk, making notes on her pad. "You all know were you sit from last year... please return to those seats. I plan to do a new seating assignment in a week. Please take out your essays I assigned you on 'Common Household Charms and Effective Use', and place them at the upper corners of your desks."
