I don't know where this really belongs, so I'm putting it here.

Recently, my sphincter area has started to become sweaty. It's so sweaty that it's ruining my underwear and I want to know if this is normal and if I could do anything about it.

The main reasons why you may be seweating so much more (if it is infact sweat) would be and increase in activity, the weather is getting hotter, thicker clothing. If you're wearing clothing that's not allowing the heat to escape (too thick or there's a pocket of air inbetween the area and the clothing) the heat may circulate and your body will try to cool itself down by sweating. Sweat is supposed to help cool your body when it evaporates but if not enough air can get to the region then it'll just build up and soak your clothing.

If this is the case then i would suggest wearing slightly looser clothing, or looser fit underwear (If you're a boy try boxers instead of briefs) or underwear made of thinner material (I've had underwear that makes my bum sweat becasue the material was too thick), if you wear your pants tight against the crotch / butt area then let them sag a little.

I also suggest trying to excuse yourself to the bathroom at work or school and just sitting on the potty and wipping the area dry and letting it breath for a little bit. And when you're at home walk around in loose fitting shorts to let the area breath. If those things dont work after trying them for a few weeks then you should make an appointment with your Doctor. You could have overactive sweat glands in the area or it could possibly be something other than sweat (maybe a discharge?)

If you've recently hit puberty then your body is going through changes and you will notice more sweat than normal in your armpit and genital region, but it sounds like the sweating is a little excessive.

I hope this helps. ^o^
