1. Questing for an Item
1.1- When questing for an item, you need to keep certain rules in mind. The most important is that you don't go begging to your fellow guild members for gold, instead make a topic with what you are questing for in the title and then make your first post on that topic contain how much the item is worth and how much you have currently. From there the other guild members will decide for themselves whether or not they wish to donate to you. Guaranteed, that I, the Guild Captain will always donate the minimum of 50 gold or a little more to your cause.
1.2- If you leave a post of any sort on a questers topic, you yourself have just given your word to donate the guild minimum to the person in question. If nothing, you at least donate the minimum to them. It is a rule, and as such, you do have the right to ask them for help in the future for the same donation back for a quest you might take up.
1.3- If some one posts and does not donate to you, contact me (Lilithia Draconis, Guild Captain), not the person who is in question of not donating! I will deal with the problem, as this is my Guild, and it is not your responsibility to deal with that kind of problem. If the person refuses to, I have the right to either temporarily or permanently ban them.
2. How To make a Quest Topic
2.1- You make your own topic, don't post your quest on someone else's. Simple, right?
3. Donating to a Questing member
3.1- Follow the rules per 1.2, or risk being sent a warning.
4. Harrasment
4.1- If some one is harrasing you, message either myself or one of the moderators for our Guild. Don't take the person on alone, as it will only make things worse. Once I receive your message about what they are harrasing you about, what they have said, and how long it has been happening, I will deal with them accordingly. I will reply to you once the problem has been dealt with, and if need be, you may have to ignore the user if the behavior persists.
4.2- If they continue, message me again, and I will ban them with no questions asked. Proceed to report what they have said, so save the messages they sent you, or the topic they did it in to the Gaia staff. Ignore them as well, just in case they don't give up.
5. Being Banned
5.1- Send me a polite message asking the simple question of why you were banned or why a person you knew was banned. If I have no knowledge of the banning, I will find out why and decide if the banning was a just cause. I usually will do all of what I hope to be nearly few of the banning of discourteous members, but there will be exceptions.
5.2- Simple, follow all the Gaia site rules and this Guilds simple rules
5.3- If you break the rules, we have the right to ban you, no questions asked. Unless we know that you have gone on a trip and you suddenly sign in during the middle of the trip time when you are away from a computer. If a hacker or malicious friend or sibling signs into your account and tries to make havoc and get you frozen, you will be messaged about it first so you know what activities the person got into under your username.
5.4- You will get only two warnings from me, the Guild Captain, and three from any of the moderators/crew. If you fail to comply after the warnings have been given, you will be banned permanently.
6. Being Hacked
6.1- If you have been hacked, which will be obvious when you show what you lack, you can follow in a similar way the proceedures of rule 1, but instead make it as a topic saying Replenishing my gold and inventory, and then you say what you have lost, and I will, along with any one else, donate gold or items to you to use. Just put up a topic, don't ask members in PM's.
7. Fun Activities
The information on this will be put up by November first.
8. Applying ofr a General (moderator/crew) Position
8.1- Look at the topic in the main forum titled General's and Positions and post what position you wish to take on (just a title, by the way). Then PM me with why you think you are ideal for the task. If you can't think about what the Title means as a position to be filled, then you are not meant to be that titled position.
8.2- Do not send a PM asking to be a crew member after you join, nor do you send a PM asking what you would have to do to be a given general title that you choose. People can apply for the position, or I can choose to give it to someone based on their behavior and work in the guild. Just don't ask to be a crew or what a position requires, and that means you do not understand the situation.
8.3- You either have to be very mature, knowledgable, or willing to take up a huge responsibility. So far, the moderators and myself are in the age group of 16 to 19. We have experience and knowledge to the site, as well as the experience in taking on a task to keep a guild running. You have to fill the knowledge part of the position by knowing how to solve a problem a member has if they bring it to you, the maturity not to ask questions that sound redundant to members, as well as to not continue a conversation with an abusive person, and the willingness to do whatever I, the Guild Captain, ask you to do.
9. Once a crew/moderator
9.1- Don't pick fights, ban members you don't like for some reason, ask to have the donations for the free items given to you claiming I gave that clearance, or breaking any of the other rules of the guild. You can't ban or touch my status on the guild, but I can ceratinly ban you.
9.2- Follow the rules of the Guild, and the tasks I give you every now and again.
10. Asking Questions about the Guild and it's Activities
10.1- Do not question me, Lilithia Draconis, about the Guild fun activities, just check the guild homepage for that information and it will be up when it gets up, what you have to do to be a General or Commander(refer to all the parts of rule 8.), question about a section of followers that has yet to have a leader, question my authority when I recommend you apprentice under one of the other moderators until the one you desire has a leader(This means going and trying to join another moderator than the one I told you), and any questions that sound either intrusive or beyond your current power status. (I know that is a rantish list, but it has to be known.)
If needed, I may add on more rules, but I hope that behavior of anyone does not make that have to be so.
The most important rule is to Have Fun!
Sincerely, Master General Lilithia Draconis
