.X.X. Punk rolled, thinking with Evan "Air" Bourne's usual hang time, he would be
able to roll once more to safety but after the wear down of the match, his opponent
came down much quicker than he'd thought and he was caught with the moonsault
as Bourne's midsection came painfully crashing down across his own .X.X.

Bourne rolled off of Punk and laid silently next to his opponent. His eyes closed as he breathed heavy in a pool of his own blood.

.X.X. Punk was recoiling from the blow in the corner, forehead holding his head
off the canvas by resting against the bottom turnbuckle as Punk spit a stream
of blood to the mat, and took several deep breaths. He tried to take a hold on
the middle rope to try and pull himself up but could not find the strength nor
the energy to do so as his arm fell back down to the mat. Punk turned his mind
inward to try and gather up some force to get mobile once more, ignoring the
electrified crowd that was rallying for his opponent, chanting his name .X.X.

Bourne slowly rose out of the pool of blood and got to his feet. He stumbled a bit and flopped into the corner opposite of Punk. Bourne flicked his head back and sprayed the cage with blood from his skull. With blood flowing over his brows he stared at his opponent in a grimacing glance. Bourne mustered up the eye of the tiger from inside. The crowd chanted his name and he darted across the ring trailing blood behind him. Right before Bourne was about to crash into Punk he leapt off the mat into the air and attempted a dropkick to Punk.

.X.X. Punk opened his eyes from the semi-meditative state he had been in, just in
the nick of time as he used the middle ropes to pull himself to his feet out of
harms way from the low dropkick that Bourne was trying to hit him with .X.X.

Bourne misses and crashes into the corner. His body contorts as it clangs against the steel and his skinn turns red and raw. Blush pours out of his head as he plops backwards towards the center of the ring. Bourne lies down in the middle of the ring unconscious in a lake of his blood.

.X.X. Punk stumbled and fell against the ropes, still a bit disoriented and wiped
the blood dripping down to his chin off with his wrist wraps, then leaned over
clutching his abdomen as a pain shot through his midsection. Punk was in no
shape to attempt any upper body offense so he walked over to Bourne and
tried to kick at his opponent's head, not powerfully, but more mockingly as
he saw Bourne was prone for just about any possible attack at this point .X.X.

Bourne quickly grabbed Punk's foot and tryed to drag him to the ground.

.X.X. The last thing Punk had expected was for Bourne to play possum and he his foot was swept out from beneath him as he fell backward onto the mat .X.X.

Bourne seized the opportunity and pulled himself to his feet. He grabbed the cage and hoisted his body up. Bourne went for a standing leg drop quick.

.X.X. Bourne's thigh slammed down across Punk's chest. He rolled onto his
side and used his foot to push himself toward the ropes to get to his feet .X.X.

Bourne quickly leapt up onto the top rope and attempted to start climbing the cage.
