Lucy's eyes rolled, was her sister really fishing for compliments... no she couldn't be, Ceres wasn't like that the things she said where genuine and from the heart and this was a great example that she was in fact, unlike Lucy, a complete softy. "Sure we did" the ghostly white dragoness with her orange stripes moved forward to nudge her gently "I think we all needed each other, me especially..." She sighed, if it hadn't been for her family, despite how hopeless they could be at times she would of stood no chance growing up. This was getting rather heart warming even for Lucy and as soon as she could feel a blush coming she knew it was time to alter the conversation just a little. "Besides having this Soilei in the family can't be too bad, look what we've got to work with already!" Grinning she let out a snicker.
Sandy Let out a hearty chuckle at Ceres last comment and then waited for Lucy to say her part, as soon as she'd finished it felt a relief that her sister had a good sense of humor. Not that Sandy had met the family before, had she? Meh, she'd ponder that later. "Family is always a blessing, even I had one once" Still had somewhere, her twin they'd been inseparable at first he'd even wanted to go with her when she was expelled from the Pack. She worried for him, what had become of him? They both had these freakish powers and they had both been young, she'd kept him in line often enough and he'd calm her down and been a shoulder. To think of what he'd do... what he'd become... without her, actually scared her inside.
"Like Lucy said you'd be surprised, we all need someone some when even when we least expect it." Sandy though of her three best friends, everything had brightened since she'd met them and then Ceres, even if she'd been an agony aunt she enjoyed it, lions and dragons accepting her for who she was and what she could do without hate or discrimination, it truly touched her inside and made her glad. "And Ceres my dear you are certainly not the only one who thinks he could use a helping hand!" Sandy let out a roar of laughter, shaking her hair and wings. "I personally think you'll be perfect for the job." Winking she fixed her hair back into place and pulled her wings in close.

Ceres totaly had to disagree with her sister, but she kept that to herself and smiled. Soilei had to meet her family one day...she knew it would be very nervious for her, but she knew her family would love him...well, at least she did... She smiled brightly as Lucy nudged her, hoping to put into that smile a lot of love. "Too true!" she laughed at Lucy's comment, "but I have to admit, they have gotten a lot better."
She then turned back to Sandy and smiled brightly at her too, "I think of all my friends as a sort of second family...they hold me up when my family can't...and so I never forget them when they need me..." Ceres looked to the sky, "I am lucky to have both caring friends and family...and now...I hope to have Soilei as well..."
She hoped beyond anything she'd ever wished for that her heart could add Soilei as the person to be there for her for the rest of her life...She wanted that.
Ceres looked at Sandy again and said, "I hope I can do a good job with him...we both can use each other humm?" then she looked at her sister, "I don't know about you sister, but I also hope for you in the future. That you can be as happy as me 3nodding "

Lucy found herself thinking back through the four of them growing up, when they were young they didn't quite understand what was right and wrong or what was happening a lot of the time. But they had learnt and she thought they'd all turned out pretty good, all but Hearlty had a potential mate, even herself. Charming had helped her a lot growing up teaching her things her Parents never could and helping her understand the world through an old mans prospective. "That they have, preparing for the grand children I expect" She snickered to herself, who would be first of the three of them to reproduce and extend the family? Lucy hadn't seen Charming in a while... she missed him and Chalce hadn't seemed to see Tropica for a while either so her guess was on Ceres and Soleil, if they could just get together officially.
Sandy listened to her words and nodded, she was so wise with her words sometimes, her family couldn't be that bad at all. Moving forward she placed a paw on the dragonesses shoulder "Something tells me he needs you far more than you need him, but you'll both see your perfect and I'm sure you'll end up together" She smiled gently and removed her paw. "And I know I'll always be here when you need me, and Soleil, despite the fact he might not realise is" a chuckle was pressing on the edges of her lips but she suppressed it enough to not burst into laughter once again.
Ceres last comment made Lucy smirk all over her face, she knew she'd be happy if Charming could accept her but for now they were only friends. "I appreciate that sis." She figured it was smart to leave it at that, she never was one to blurt out her life, she was always the one on the side lines, listening and watching.

Ceres felt loved. From both her family and friends. It was something she knew she could count on. "I wish everyone on the island could be as happy as I am now." she said smiling brightly. At one point she hoped she outshone Sandy, "I thank fate I have such good friends and family..." she hugged her friend's paw to show her love, then went over to her sister and leaned against her a little for a small show of affection, "I hope you guys just stay with me till the moment you can't...cause I know I'll be with you till I can't anymore!"

Sandy smiled and hugged her back, it was late and she'd hoped to catch the twins before the night was out. She'd seen Ceres and knew that things would sort them selfs out and with that she expanded her wings "I'll leave you sisters to it then." Nodding she stepped back "I'll always be here and there, I look here for you quite often you know" Sandy chuckled, if Ceres and Soleil finally did get together she was sure she'd see more of them but for now it was getting late and they had been talking for a while it was best to let them get back to their family time. Family time they could enjoy until they all found their mates and headed out to start new lifes with the friends they'd each come to love in that special way. Waiting long enough to hear her friends reply she made her good byes and gathered speed, beating her wings and headed back up into the sky for another nights look about for new and old friends.
Lucy found herself snorting again, her sisters speech was getting just that bit too soppy for her and she was positive there were probably people on the Isle even more happy than her sister but she wouldn't mention that. Instead she thought of something more reassuring to say, something nice. "I would think everyone on the Isle wishes they could be as lucky as you" She smiled and blinked briefly at the little show of affection but found herself returning it with her own nuzzle out of habit. She couldn't promise how long they'd all be together but Lucy could guess that she wouldn't be the first to leave home and with that she nodded and waved to the lioness a very brief good bye even in her standards. The two were alone now and a yawn forced it's way out of Lucy's maw, it had been a little while since they ate and she would surely be falling ill again soon if she didn't sleep.

"Bye! Ceres said grinning, "I'll see you later!"
The talk about Soleil made her feel better, but there would always be that doubt in the back of her head till he gave her his answer. She ment what she said to them both. Even if they all went away and off with their mates, she would continue to care in her own secret heart that she had full of friends and family.
She turned to Lucy and sat happily, "Thanks for listening." she said, "I know I'm a spaz at times...but it helps to get it strightened out." She saw her sister yawn and chuckled, "I think you have a very good idea... it is a rather lazy time of night isn't it?" She stood, finaly realising how sleepy she was when she tried to hold up her weight. She smiled and said, "Wanna head back togeather?"

Lucy grinned at the thank you and the comment, she couldn't resist commenting on that one "That you are dearest sister, but you know we love you." With her grin fading into a gentle smile she nodded starting to feel the lack of energy in her system. "A lazy night for all I expect, it's rather hot isn't it? Chalce and Heartly will probably already be asleep" chuckling she got to her feet and joined her sister's side ready to head back "And for the record, I'm sure he'll get a wake up call and you'll both live happily ever after."
