___..::Raevan {Possible Essences} Quote: Fragile Diamond Fel Essence: Description: Set securely within a padded box, a vial holding a splintery gemstone can be found. The stone is beautiful, any light caught in its countless facets throwing out fiery glints of every color in the spectrum. But even the slightest disturbance to the vial that jostles its contents causes the stone to crack, splinter and fracture - its beauty and clarity declares its nature as a diamond, but whoever heard of a diamond that broke as easily as glass? How it happened: During the Great Storm, deep in the soil the veins of the earth's living rock were shaken and stirred about. This particular bit of mineral matter, lucky enough to be born from coal and formed into one of nature's masterworks, was soon shaken, thrown about, and set atremble to its very atoms. NAME : Soliloquy Marie Kendall

OCCUPATION : Teacher’s assistant

LIKES : Reading, creative writing, orderly people, quiet
DISLIKES : Talkative students, most social scenes and the people therein, loudness, boisterous activity
LOOKS : Soliloquy is of medium height and build. Her hair is long, down to mid-back, and dark brown. Her eyes are light brown. She has a fair complexion with freckles scattered through-out.
PERSONALITY : Soliloquy is taciturn and doesn’t make an effort to socialize with people outside of her work. She is a teacher’s assistant for an English and Literature professor at a local college, and devotes herself wholly to her work. She’s very cut and dry and has very little sense of humor. Soliloquy isn’t shy and will, if pressed enough to get a word out, tell people exactly what is on her mind. She has a great dislike of disorganization and clutter, and keeps the house that she lives in alone neat within nearly obsessive bounds.
HISTORY : Soliloquy’s parents met in college, and an ill-advised late night tryst developed into baby, a quick marriage, and an equally quick divorce a year later. Soliloquy’s father, a devoted bibliophile and lover of the pretentious ‘til the end, gave the girl her unlikely name and raised her with the aid of his parents. Soliloquy’s mother left the college and the city a year after her marriage to Soli’s father had dissolved, and has since remained out of the picture. Soliloquy was raised in a stable, well-established home, though Soli’s father was remote with her. Soliloquy was not raised on the illusion that she was anything other than an unplanned surprise – but where other children would wilt and rebel under such a burden, Soli accepted it and moved on. She lived with her grandparents until her grandfather’s death when she was nineteen, and soon after struck out on her own. She attended the same college as her parents had, working her way through school and attaining a degree in English and Literature. She was a good student and stayed on after her graduation as a teacher’s aide to her favorite professor, assisting with grading, lesson plans and occasionally fetching coffee. She aspires to be a writer and more often then not shuns socializing for a good night in front of her laptop, writing into the small hours of the morning.
