The musical incline fey looked around with pale sadden blue eyes, his relaxed form resting on top of a giant Erops mushroom. A confuse look came to the ghostling's features as he tried to recall why he was there and how he gotten there. Slowly the events came to mind and he frowned. He had been flying, (technically speaking, levitating) lowly as he explore the the new place, he suddenly felt the urge to go faster and higher up. To make it short, he had hit a rather strong branch and been knocked off right off the air.
"....Stupid...." He murmured under his breath with a voice that soft but commanding.

Sitting up, he floated up into the air and shook his whole body like a dog after a bath, getting the spores and dust off him that he had disturbed. Floating downwards, he checked for a moment if this mushroom was someone's home. It wasn't. "....Good....At least I won't have to explain....."

Suddenly, something done on him as his body twisted around in the air until he was floating upside down, mostly white hair dangling just a few inches off the ground. "....Where did my violin go?!...." A frighten look crossing his face, since he had just realize that the violin case was no longer strapped to his form, it must of had come lose when he hit the branch or the mushroom. He upright himself and started to frantically look around, which looked at first glance out of character on the normally calm and cool-headed fey.

Joey sighs wondering how he ended up back in this forest he hated bugs more than anything. This place didn't just have the small ones they had some really big stupid bugs. He sighed as he stopped remembering the reason he was here. He looked down at his map being a map maker is harder than he thought. It is ten times harder when his mentor is a nature lover and drags him everywhere he goes. He can't understand why he had to switch mentors to this one he only sighed once more. Joey rested a hand against a tree when he felt something on his tail. It wasn't really something on his tail but more like something come off of his tail. Something was snipping off his hair he turned around to face a big beetle snipping off his hair. He shuddered and gripped his map tightly before he began to move his tail slightly towards him.
He didn't want to alarm the bug but that didn't seem to work much for the slight movement alarmed the bug. There was reason for alarm since the bug did come up to his knees and those pincers. He whimpered and ran as the beetle gave chase he ran though a bunch of tight mushrooms together. He managed to escape the slow beetle and it only happened to fall and tumble over a high tree root. He rolled and when he finally stopped and as he slowly looked up for his map he searched and saw the lighted map against a violin case. He blinked wondering where he had seen it before.

Adriel went higher up and moved rapidily about the trees, staring down to the small section he wad calculating the black silver-lined violin case could had fallen. He cursed under his breath every single god, goddess and higher being he knew, along with himself for being such an idiot.

Of course, since in the panic of losing his violin, he seemed to have forgotten the very important lesson that the whole previous event had given him as he suddenly turning around as he flew to look in another section of the small pace, he hit the same treacherous branch.

He was knocked off right out of the air and fell.
Needless to say, he wasn't happy when he regain consciousness again on the same mushroom.

Joey looked around he was covered in dirt yet again and this time fur was missing from his tail. He sighed and walked over to the map only to hear a strange sound. From a distance he could see the spore being released from a mushroom as if something fell onto it. He didn't see what it was just a small cloud the same color of the fungus. He made a grim face and picked up the mad rolling it up and picked up the violin case. Somewhere in the back of his mind said this may end up being another bug wanting something more than fur. However, something told him it may not be son he ventured towards it being cautious of any bugs. He sighed looking up at the mushroom not able to see anything but what was underneath the mushroom top. "Ummm hello" he said with somewhat voice as he wondered if it was his imagination or not.

Adriel rubbed part of his already aching body, hitting branches several times can do that to you. Hearing the greeting, he sat up quickly, the mushroom he landed on early had no occupant, neither those around it. So...who was greeting him? The voice sounded eerily familiar.

Floating up into the air, he shook his whole body to get rid of the spores that have landed once again on his body before lowering himself to the other. Opening his eyes, he blinked, registering his violin case before the person. He swooped down and took it. "...My violin!..." He strapped it back on before looking at the person more closely. "...Joey!..." He stared at him in disbelief. "...what are you doing here?..."

Joey blinked he almost dropped his map when Adriel grabbed the case so quickly. He took a step back when his name was said with such shock and was somewhat loud. He managed a small smile as he held onto his map as if he was indicating to the reason he was there. However, he knew he had to say it for this job is not a normal one to him anyways. "I was sent here by my master....um teacher sent me here. He is a field type guy when it comes to map making" he sighed he missed sitting in the observatory or flying on somebody's back to obtain his maps. He flicked his tail in front of himself there was some clumps of fur missing it wasn't very noticeable but it was to him.

Settling on the ground and standing on his feet, his eyes study the map for a moment before nodding. "...I see..." He looked around for a moment, hearing a low clicking sound. "....Hrrrmm....We should move, I think a bug is coming this way...." Such a tell-tale sign, he wonder why they did such noises. He grabbed Joey's hand and started walking away from the sound as he tried to think of something to say. "....Wouldn't it be easier to map a place from above? or is that a more detailed map?...."

Joey smiled and shuddered when he heard the word bug he didn't want to see another bug in his life. Though that would be hard for bugs are needed no matter if they get freakishly huge and start clipping tails. He sighed as he followed Adriel he nodded "yes the maps I have previously made have always been from above. Or at least on the back of someone or a familiar in the care of my father and my former ma... umm teacher." He sighed "My current mentor is not only a map maker but also a star reader which is something so very ancient." He sighed once more "he called my maps skills to be to primitive and a real map must be something the maker must experience." He grumbled with at growl his ears were flicking and up from the normal down nature that they always seem to be. His new mentor or master as his former mentor claimed themselves to be. Was a bit of a sore subject to him he couldn't more like he refused to understand the way this man did this.

Adriel kept walking, holding onto Joey's hand even thought he had started following. He listen to the other closely, his eyebrow raised for a moment. "....While I have never seen your maps and cannot give an honest opinion, I do not believe in calling someone's skills primitive just because they have been done differently...." He said softly, he seemed to be thinking of how to word the next part. "...That said, I agree that to be a better map maker, traveling the land by foot or grounded transportation can help you become more savvy and gain skills that help you along not only to make maps but to live a better and more full filled life...Look at me, I am a musician, but I travel the lands for inspiration but also to gain new knowledge in other things..."

Joey's ears went down and he sighed Adriel was entitled to his own opinion and didn't have to be the same as his. He still felt that it was out of date but that is what a person who found books more interesting than people. He nodded "I see traveling is something that my father also tells me that I have to do. I just don't like the ground much" it was odd coming from a person that spent most of his living life underground or on ground. He sighed once more this seemed to be a regular thing for him to do a book worm should stay with the books. He looked down noticing that Adriel was still holding his hand. He didn't say anything just blushed turning his head away from Adriel so he couldn't see his burning face.

Adriel gave the smallest half smile at the other, blinking confuse when he saw him looking the other way. Shrugging, he took in the words.
"....Well...I suppose traveling isn't for everyone...Maybe you should just do aerial maps but I still think you should travel a little longer....You don't know, you might finish finding something out there that makes you forget you don't like the ground...." He could understand that, not everyone like to be outside or in unfamiliar settings. Himself, he found it hard to place his emotions on traveling, then again, most of his emotions seem a bit dull about everything, the only thing he felt full force was guilt and sorrow.
