Since this thread looks like the permanent kind, I went ahead and made it a sticky instead of an announcement (those are for specific events). :3
As for the front page design contest, I do believe we've already mentioned quite a bit in the Planning/Suggestions thread. xP People would create a design for the homepage of the guild with whatever graphics and text they see fit. We would choose the one that looks the best and give them a prize, but we would eventually rotate through all of the best designs that were submitted and put them up as the homepage.
For a prize, I think gold would be pretty sufficient. xD; 5k-10k sounds about right, I think.
