"Geez, deal a little slower, Aiko," Cado complained later. "I could've moved across the state in the time it took you to finish."

Aiko raised her eyebrow. "I already dealt, though you probably closed your eyes for a little too long to notice." She turned to look at their new friend. "Besides, it's Siber's turn to play."

"Huh - whoa, so it is. I... I'm not... when did all that time pass?" Cado asked, feeling slightly disoriented.

"Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Check this out." Siber turned and pointed his finger up and to the left. "I've been here so long I've changed genders." He looked over his cards for a bit. "I guess..." He slapped down three cards. "Gimme three. This hand sucks. Do you guys ever do anything, here?"

Aiko had a small smile on her face as she passed Siber the three cards that he asked for. "We sit. And wait. And listen to the melody that is never ending bullets flying outside the building." Though she felt bored and slightly put out at the fact that they'd been stuck inside a building with people STILL shooting at them (where did they get all that ammo?), she did feel better knowing that there was another girl with them. Kind of. It was an interesting trick that Siber had pulled.
It was now Shae's turn.

"One," Shae said smoothly, sliding her a card. It was impossible to tell whether or not he was bluffing; he had spent months practicing his poker face.

"I'm good." Gabriel said simply, smirking. He seemingly had no worries about his hand.

Aiko gave Shae his card and nodded at Gabriel. "It seems we have all sort of people popping up out of nowhere," she muttered. She looked at her cards and then decided to draw two.
"Is it me, or does this game have a very serious atmosphere to it?" The utter amount of concentration placed on the game might have made them play a lot slower than a usual game of poker.
((...damnit, I lost the game.))
