..Well, at least one parent.. maybe. I'm not really sure. Dad would take it rather well I think, he's able to take a lot of things in stride. Mom.. I'm not so sure about. I mean she'd still love me if I told her I was bi. It's not like I have some of those scary parents who like, disown their children at mention of such a thing, but I'm jsut unsure of how she'd react.
I'm pretty sure if I ask dad he won't say anything to her though..*bites lip* Mum, as much as I love her, is a bit closed minded about some things uh.. for example, modern art. She absolutley hates it. Doesn't understand it, doesn't want to. I'm just afraid that she'll be uncomfortable about it and become distant or something... *sighs*
And how on earth does one break the ice on a sensitive subject like this!!?!?! gonk I'd be so much easier if I knew what to say at first.... *stresses*
Any chance of help/encouragment/support/wisdom of experience out there?

It is good to get advice, but remember that none of us know your parents as well as you do. In the end, it's your decision and you are in the best position to judge.
smile It's great that you're thinking of coming out to your parents. Really, it's wonderful, and even seriously considering "breaking the news" is a huge step.
Do you know how your parents feel about homosexuality or bisexuality in general? Have they ever mentioned it, perhaps in regard to a movie or current events? Have they ever had any gay friends that you know of, or have any of your relatives come out as gay?
