Unless Marina Toriama premits it, only she may post here.
It is just a plain white feather, but there seems to be some odd with it. It almost too white... and your friends keep saying to put a charm on it. What is up with this thing?Name: Nessia Keeper: Marina Toriama Stage: Charmed Feather

 Here's a photo of a feather I found today. Isn't it pretty?

Here's me when I was a little one. ^--^

Jacinth was sitting on top of her roof, barely keeping her balance as she watched the leaves fall from the surrounding trees. "Pretty!" she exclaimed out to the warm-hued sky, her eyes shining slightly in the warm glow given off by the sunset. The kit absolutely LOVED all the different colors autumn offered. She shakily stood to her feet, managing to keep her balance. Yes, what she was about to do was HIGHLY dangerous, but it seemed like so much fun! She began running along the rood, catching leaves that had been caught in the breeze. "One leaf, two leaf.....three leaf, four. Come on wind and give me more!" she sung out, giggling at her made up song as she continued catching the brightly colored leaves. As she was catching leaf number six, she noticed something soft in her hand....she'd caught something else besides a leaf. But, as she lost her balance, she slipped and fell, tumbling to the ground. "Owwie...." she murmured as she sat up, rubbing her head. Other than slight aches and pains, she seemed okay...oddly enough. She then looked at what she had held the entire fall. Another white feather.
"Good luck!" she said, grinning brightly. "I'll keep you, since you stopped me from getting ouchies." she said, giggling. She'd found another good luck feather, which was just as great as finding something glittery or shiny in her opinion. She skipped towards the back door, intending to "introduce" the two feathers so they could be feathery friends. After all, that made perfect sense....in her logic, that is.

Jacinth ran into the house, gently cupping her hands around her new feather friend. She remembered how the first had started acting odd when a charm was added to it, so maybe... She set the feather on the counter before rushing upstairs. She new exactly what she could put on this one!
Rummaging, shuffling, and a few crashing sounds came from upstairs as the girl began looking for what she had in mind. It was a wonder the entire house wasn't a mess with how she threw things around sometimes. A triumphant "squee" came from upstairs, and the girl was running back down the stair and to the kitchen. She noticed that her first feather was now on the counter, causing her smile to widen a little. "I found you a new friend." she said, grinning as she motioned to the charmless feather. She waited a moment, letting them 'get aqquainted'. She then picked the feather up carefully, looping a small windbell on the end. "There, pretty!" she said, grinning as she listened to the tintinnabulation that sounded as she gently shook the bell. She then sat the feather back down gently, her rumbling stomach reminding her that it was time for lunch.

Jacinth examined the feather; it seemed very much like the other one had. They were both white and void of dirt, and they both seemed lucky. Her mind strayed back to the tales her mother told her as a child. "If you keep it, you'll have their blessings. But, if you put a charm on it, a charm that means something to you, the ones above will grant you a special gift" she murmured softly, quoting what her mother had said so long ago. A small smile crossed her lips. Looks like the ones above had given her two gifts. The only difference was, now she knew what that gift was: a child. Which made taking care of the feather extra-specially important. Yup yup.
Jacinth stood, holding the feather carefully. She'd almost forgotten! It was almost lunch time, and she was sure Emmy had to be hungry. She laid the little feather carefully on a pillow, smiling at it before running off to the kitchen to prepare their food.
