Irae'afein looked to the rogue, finally giving up completely on the pursuit of the other's occupation. He would be what he would be, the Drow supposed. "Well, you didn't have to come into my room." The Drow felt the need to dryly point out. "What kind of a Do'rett would I be if I didn't consider it absolutely rude and offending for you to come within these walls in the first place?" The oldest child shook his head, exasperated.
The rogue's reaction to the light was... strangely amusing. Irae giggled, choking abruptly on the small noise as it was one he certainly couldn't ever recall having made. Once he was through with coughing and doing all things related to choking he assessed Mikaril. "You weren't burnt, were you?" He inquired out of mere curiosity; there was no real concern in his tone because of the other's reaction afterwards.
"You should've expected that sooner or later." He added in a mumble.

Mikaril picked himself up and brushed himself off rather needlessly, given the absence of dust. "Well, it's like I said, it wasn't anything against you personally. Yours just happened to be the room I ended up in." He shrugged his right shoulder and looked thoughtful. "I guess on those lines, all thieves are rude, and it may be true, but you know, there are worse things that can happen to a drow than finding their things gone."Taking the other's amusement at his crash landing to be a good sign, he pulled his hood slightly back and looked down at his hands, then he reached up and felt his face, testing for any pain or rawness of the skin. Finding none, he put his hand down and smiled at the other. "Doesn't look like it burned me, though now I'm sure glad I didn't try to break it." He raised his eyebrows at the added mumble. "Hey, I can admit freely that I underestimated you and your stick; nearly all of the magic I've seen required the magic user to maintain some sort of contact with their magical......thingies."
