Tansen grimaced as both of his opponents saw through his trick and launched their attacks at him. Not good! With the rubble around me I have no way to dodge! Unless... There was a spark from Tansen's zanpakuto and after the twin pillars of fire and lightning had passed by his hiding spot, there was nothing left of the eighth squad captain except a pile of ash and a few traces of his shinigami uniform.
By going underground, Tansen was diving straight into the flames of Jan's attack, and he could feel sweat dripping down his forehead as he plunged deeper into earth. His latest creation that he had used was protecting him for the most part from the flames, but it still didn't make it any easier. Just a little bit more...!
There was a silence after the attacks, and then the ground began to shake violently. With no other way of avoiding Jan and Xeion's attacks, going underground had been Tansens only option. "Now it's my turn." The ground split open and a collossal worm three times the size of Tansens dragonfly came crashing out of the floor and began charging towards Jan. You shouldn't get cocky in the middle of a fight. you might rub someone the wrong way. Tansens latest creation opened up it's mouth, revealing a long sword-like tongue which launched from it's host and sped straight towards the head vizards heart.
At the same time, Tansen's dragonfly that had been circling the area turned around and charged straight at Xeion. When it was just a few feet away from the shinigami, it's chest opened up, revealing a large assortment of sharp blades. The blades shot out of the dragonfly's stomach like bullets at lightning fast speed, but that wasn't all. Tansen's dragonfly still had another weapon, the fake captain on it's back. Tansen's "little surprise" was that the look-alike was filled with a mixture of gunpowder and NO2. He had left a small spark of reiatsu to trigger the explosion whenever he wanted to, and right now he wanted to. In an instant, the entire area around Xeion was engulfed in an incredible explosion. Even with his dimensional portals, it's gonna be hard to avoid that.
With Xeion hopefully out of the way, Tansen now focused his energy on Jan. I hid my reiatsu perfectly earlier and yet he still managed to figure out my location. If he's tracking me somehow then I have to figure out how, and stop him.
((Post 3/10 Again guys, really sorry for the wait. And just so you know...That combination of gunpowder and NO2 has enough power to damage the entire stadium, the shockwave alone could shatter bones.))

((Sorry for being gone for over a week. Even after I finished off my midterm, I got sick and didn't get to finish my draft...
Oh yeah, Tansen: Jan's Hammer Hell is an attack from below, so your movement would have sent you into it faster. Feel free to edit within reason!))
While he made no attempt to hide his annoyance at Xeion's sheer luck in absorbing the Hammer Heaven, Jan was already thinking of way to repay him in kind. However, he knew that Tansen had somehow escaped the Hammer Hell, and would need to be dealt with first. Even though Xeion was making the first counter, it was already easy enough to predict by now. Another run-in-and-out attack. And from behind too... How sad. I'll leave him a surprise for his retreat...
Jan simply stepped forwards to evade the mid-torso slash attack Xeion had launched. However, he had only somewhat expected his own attack being returned back to him. The effect of the surprise was somewhat increased by the predictability of Xeion's previous actions. However, by stopping to talk, Xeion had already given away his intention, and thus given Jan enough time to think of a counter. Thrusting his katana backwards, Jan absorbed the enhanced electricity in his blade, giving it a bright blue glow. Releasing it almost immediately in a wave around him, it made his Detection Field somewhat more concentrated. Xeion was still somewhat close to him, so it was likely that he might feel the intensity of the electricity in the air as static sparks on his skin
At the same time, Tansen's giant worm had erupted from the earth and aimed its head at Jan, firing its single projectile. Easily detecting its metal properties with his electromagnetic Detection Field, Jan used the slightly higher concentration of the field near him to curve the flying blade to the side, forcing it to miss his heart by a little under a foot. Frowning slightly at the new hole in his cape, Jan lamented the fact that the blade was too fast to be curved back at Xeion as an aid to his counterattack.
Unfortunately for both Xeion and Jan, they were still within reasonably close range. The explosive-packed dragonfly which had been meant for Xeion would also affect Jan's strategy. While the blades meant for Xeion had no bearing on Jan, the explosion certainly would. As the shockwave began to spread, Jan quickly called upon his Hollow-based energy to Sonido away from the epicenter. Following him was the shockwave, which passed over him somewhat harmlessly due to Jan having had moved at enough speed for it to feel like a strong wind.
Stopping a good twenty meters or so from both other fighters, Jan sighed to himself. In the end, the other fighters' strategies had kept him from being able to implement any of his strategies, particularly against Xeion. He's busy enough... Why don't we focus on Tansen then? Firing another salvo of light beams from his wakisashi, Jan used simple Shunpo to close the distance before throwing out a large electric arc at him with a swing of his katana. "Stun Edge!"
((4.10; 10/30 Of course, Jan's Stun Edge isn't really used for stunning enemies anymore...))

Even though Xeion was already at a fair distance away from them, he felt a somewhat strange sensation on his skin which, unknown to him, was Jan-sama's Detection Field becoming a bit more concentrated thanks to the 'boost' it had received from the enhanced 'Hammer Heaven' before. However, that was the least of his worries for now he had to deal with a gigantic, metal dragonfly, flying at him at break-neck speed as if it was readying to sacrifice itself just so it could take him out -- kamikaze style. The metal creature's flight pattern had already suggested doing such a thing and as such, it allowed Xeion time to prepare a plan of attack. He didn't, however, plan for what was about to happen next.
Xeion prepared for the dragonfly and adjusted his footing so that he could make a proper defense, but then all of a sudden, the metal dragonfly's stomach compartment opened and a hail of innumerable blades shot out, each one attempting to impale the young man where he stood with their speed. In response, Xeion simply opened a Dark Mirror in front of him which absorbed the blades easily because their trajectory was simply linear, making it easy to 'catch' them by the bulk. The Dark Mirror closed up, leaving only the metal dragonfly to deal with Xeion. But as he was about to take a step forward to shunpo away, it blew up into a massive explosion.
Upon seeing the power of the explosion up close, it didn't need too much examination to ascertain that an explosion of that magnitude would most likely decimate the stadium... and half of the shinigami watching there with it.
"Damn, there's innocent people watching here! I have to act fast or else they may get caught up in the explosion." Xeion thought to himself, sticking Elena's tip into the ground and knelt on one knee, leaning against her. "May the heaven's protect me." He muttered before several, massive, Dark Mirrors appeared all over the stadium, protecting the audience and the stadium itself from the destructive power of the massive explosion from Tansen-taicho's dragonfly. Now, with the lives of his fellow shinigami and the stadium itself safeguarded with the Dark Mirrors, all that was left was to deal with the explosion. However, in ensuring the safety of the people, it left Xeion with barely enough time to execute one more move before the explosion reached him. But even so, the fact that he knew that he had protected his fellow shinigami made him happy inside even at the cost of receiving damage.
"Pride!" Xeion shouted as his body became enveloped with Elena's energy, wrapping around his kneeling figure as the explosion hit him. Acting as a shield, the Pride Barrier -- one of Elena's 'Seven Dark Gifts' -- protected Xeion from most of the killing power the explosion may have had. But this, however, still didn't fully protect him from the bone-crushing force of the shockwave generated by the explosion. Xeion felt the powerful pressure hit his body like a speeding truck, squeezing him as if his limbs were caught in a vice. When the pressure finally faded, so did the Pride Barrier and the Dark Mirrors around the stadium, leaving Xeion panting heavily as he wobbled up to his feet, still feeling the after-effects of the shockwave, spurting out blood from his mouth. But luckily for him, the explosion scattered dust into the air which now acted as some sort of a cloak to cover Xeion.
"It's good that nobody got hurt.” Xeion thought to himself, wiping off the blood from his mouth and used the momentary cover to activate his ARC. The symbol for the Roman number ‘XIII’, his Raven Mark, then etched itself on his forehead and let out a rather soft glow compared to the usual brightness his mark had when fully activated . The half-activated ARC boosted his physical attributes only slightly since he wasn‘t activating it fully because it would only act as a supplementary power source, not as a primary one as of yet. With the damage he had just sustained, he needed his ARC to ensure that he could still perform at 100 percent. Without it, that shockwave could have severely reduced Xeion’s potential by one-tenth and god knows how important it was to be at full combat capacity in a battle as serious as this one.
Creating yet another black orb, Xeion allowed it to float up as it did its duty of ‘cleaning’, sucking up all of the residual energy particles inside the ring and storing it inside itself, the same as the other three. “That’s four.” Xeion said and went back to the fight at hand. “It’s time to kick it up a notch, Elena.”
Slowly, Elena began to seethe with cosmic energy which began to cover Xeion’s body. He emanated cosmic energy from him which then began to cause a spatial distortion around himself, and in effect, allowed Xeion to disappear from sight. He had activated Elena’s Dark Walker ability. Aside from the fact that Xeion was now invisible to the naked eye, the Dark Walker also served a secondary purpose which Xeion didn't know about since he didn't know that he and Tansen-taicho were inside Jan-sama's detection field. With the activation of the Dark Walker, Xeion had unwittingly countered Jan-sama’s detection field to some extent. Due to the complex properties of Xeion’s cosmic energy, it was much denser; therefore, it made it much more difficult for Jan-sama’s electromagnetic particles to penetrate it. With Jan-sama’s detection field, Jan-sama could still detect Xeion, but by the time Jan-sama would be able to receive the information of his whereabouts, Xeion had already moved elsewhere.
Think of it as like two, horse-mounted scouts, spying on an an enemy encampment, who both have the same level of skill in scouting and both having the fastest horse available, but each one taking different routes: one through a smooth and straight road, the other through a treacherous, winding mountain path, with the first scout representing Jan-sama‘s electromagnetic particles before the activation of the Dark Walker and the second one, after. If the first scout would relay the message of the enemy’s position to his captain, it would easily take him no time to get back to his base, since the road he had chosen was straight, and give his captain the information they need to make a surprise attack. Now, if the second scout were to do the same, it would take him more time to get back to his base and give the information to his captain who would want to do the same as the first captain. As a result, while the latter was busy preparing, the enemy may have already struck a surprise attack against them or they may have moved elsewhere.
Now, with Xeion somewhat safe from detection, he decided that now was the time to strike once more. Running out from the cloak of dust, Xeion saw Jan-sama just finishing an attack at close range against Tansen-taicho. Seeing this as an opportunity, Xeion used a shunpo to get to their position as quickly as possible in order to mount an attack against both. Using the slight after-attack pause before Jan-sama could go back into his fighting form after he swung his katana, Xeion quickly attacked with a flurry of diagonal sword strikes. However, these weren’t merely sword strikes, they were Silent Edge sword strikes.
The Silent Edge makes use of the second stage’s abilities in order to bend the time-space continuum between Xeion’s hands and Elena, making attacks with Elena inexplicably faster -- so fast that it bends the law of physics which makes multiple attacks from different directions seem as if they were only a single attack coming from a single direction -- as well as makes them dead silent. In addition, Silent Edge attacks are usually masked with brilliant light, due to the bending of the time-space stream, making it almost impossible to predict where Silent Edge attacks are coming from. With the deadly combination of speed, silence and light, it was an attack that would probably push Jan-sama’s dodging ability to its limits.
After attacking Jan-sama, Xeion turned his attention towards Tansen-taicho and used a shunpo to get close to him in order to do the same with him as he did with Jan-sama. After finishing with both of them, he jumped back and extended his hand as a large Dark Mirror appeared from beneath them. From out of the darkness, Tansen-taicho’s blades from before shot upward, with twice as much speed and power. With Xeion now invisible and somewhat undetectable, he took the time to walk around, trying to replenish the stamina he had used to mount his attack against both combatants as well as to keep himself on his toes since staying in one place would be dangerous in combat even though he was invisible. As soon as the Dark Mirror finished letting out all of Tansen-taicho’s blades, it closed up immediately, leaving only two, visible shinigami and one hiding; waiting for a chance to either strike or defend.

Sensing the danger from Jan's attack, Tansen was forced to act quickly. Luckily the young captain, like any good mechanic, had installed an ejection system in his latest creation and used the useful mechanism to shoot himself out of his worm before the creature was blown to bits by the barrage of light and reiatsu.
Landing softly on his feet, Tansen had no time no catch his breath, for Xeion's dark mirror opened up in front of him and launched the same blades he had used on the Vice captain earlier. His powerful reflexes took over for his startled brain and the shinigami found himself performing an impressive sequence of quick backflips to avoid the steel blades flying at him.
Despite his flashy acrobatics however, Tansen cringed as he felt two of his blades cut into his flesh in his left leg and shoulder. Once again landing on his feet, Tansen used the quick reprieve to do damage control and acess the situation. His captains hayori had been disintegrated by his fake Tansen bomb earlier and his right sleeve had been torn off.
I took a couple of minor hits, but I'm still okay. Xeion took a large hit earlier, but he seems to be recovering rather quickly. Plus, he's cloaking his movements now in order to buy more time to heal...Jan hasn't taken a single hit yet and I still don't know how he detected my movements so quickly earlier...It might be smart to go for Xeion right now while he's still recuperating, but then Jan might interfere...So then why not go for Jan while Xeion's recovering his strength?
Not wanting to leave Xeion to his own devices, Tsumari-Renkin began to glow bright green as Tansen created another golem from the earth. It was in the shape of a mechanical hound this time and quickly began work on tracking the hiding Lieutenant. While it could not sniff him out like a normal hound, it did have superior hearing. If Xeion made a wrong move, the alchemic beast would be on him in an instant.
Tightening the grip on his sword, the symbols began to glow again as Tansen transmuted the blade itself, reshaping his weapon into a long armblade which attached itself to his wrist. "Here I come Jan..." Using shunpo, Tansen quickly appeared directly in front of the head vizard and aimed a slash towards his abdomen. This was merely a distraction, as Tansen's left hand came up, glowing with reiatsu. "Bakudo number four, hainawa!" instantly, numerous strands of emerald green reiatsu in the shape of ropes shot from the young captains hands and went to work on entangling Jan. This would hopefully reveal an opening for Tansen to land his real blow.
((Post 4/10 I totally forgot that this was still here....I'm so sorry guys!))
