Hello, my name is Ismira87 or just Ismira. It isn't my real name, it's from Christoper Paolini's books the Inheritance Cycle. I am a junior in college, and I just had a realization and I don't know if I'm going to do what I had originally planned. I had thought that I wanted to become a high school English teacher, but now I'm not so sure.
Anyway, I love to write, read, and draw. I think up story lines all the time, however I have only ever finished maybe two or three of those stories. I am planning on someday writing an entire novel and publishing... with any luck it will be big.
I have one sister who is also a member on Gaia... Numa89. And I actually know at least four people in real life who are also on Gaia... I didn't meet them on Gaia though... we knew each other before then.
And that's me... mrgreen

Heyy everyone!
My name's Pat. Shadow_contractor is based off the anime Darker than Black. I'm a junior in highschool right now. I get pretty decent grades I guess. whee
I'm like an odd mix of personalties, or something like that.
I actually like science. I guess I'm a bit nerdy in that sense. xp
I skate a lot, but it's mostly flatground technical stuff.
I also play the guitar and write songs. I've been playing for 6 years now.
I also like watching anime and reading manga.
I also run track, I'm a sprinter surprisingly xd
My favorite genre right now is Fantasy. I love living within the stories of the fantasy world.
So yea...that's me. ninja

It's nice to meet everyone here! whee Darker than Black is more of a sci-fi anime. Basically, abnormal areas, called Gates, appear randomly. Once the gates appeared, people began to acquire "super powers", like controlling gravity or controlling fire. These people are called Contracters. However, each time they use their power, they need to do something random to make up for it, such as folding the pages of a book or soemthing else. There was a war between Contractors, and suddenly one of the Gates disappeared along with people near it. The main character in this anime searches for his sister who disappeared with that Gate. Whoa, that was an intense summary. xp Haha. Maybe I'll go and re-watch it again. ninja

I like Chobits and Bleach but I don't have a very big knowledge of Anime. My friend made me (okay, she didn't make me but it's amazing how persistent people can be sometimes) read Yu-Gi-Oh and watch Inuyasha and that was mildly entertaining.

I am Prema 21. I have written 1 complete book in hopes to get published eventually in the non fiction genre starting on the 2 book, in the fantasy genre i am still working on some of my fantasy related stories, and i also write spiritual books....

Nobody's talked since January?! Where did everybody go? sad
I went off and aged (this is my last year as a teen!), had a baby and got married. 3nodding I had another GIRL! Squee! She's already 4 months old. Babehs are totally full time jobs. Somehow I manage to still read lotsa books though. Probably because I can feed her the good stuff and read at the same time.

I kinda feel like I should finally introduce myself even though I haven't been around for a while. I'm Hana_Chan or Kasia in real life. I lived in Poland for three year, since I was 5 to the age of 8, and still visit every few years for part of the summer. I'm starting my second year at community college and am planning on transferring to a regular collage after that. I still have no idea what I want to major in. Something to do with writing would be nice, but I'm not sure how far I could go with that. I love to read and write and am currently working on a novel that I've just started. I love Greek mythology, musicals, and detective/cop shows like Law and Order, Monk, Psych, etc. I quickly get bored of my hair color/hairstyle and have changed it 6 times within the last three months. (At least I'm pretty sure it was 6.) That's pretty much all I can think of to say.

I did not know this topic existed until Hana-Chan posted (It's nice to meet you)! Even though I've been here for a while, I feel that I ought to share a little bit of information with everyone. Note that my profile contains all of this type of information, so I'll just create a succinct summary.
I'm Priestess of Neptune (sorry, but I'm not going to share anything that I don't want the world at large to see). I'm in the midst of my senior year in high school, although I'm also a freshman in college at the same time. I take art classes, as I am going to be an architect. Writing is something that I do occasionally, for my own benefit.
I like a narrow range of things, although I don't mind things that I don't enjoy. Musically, I'm a fan of Nirvana and Rush (who you've heard of), and Grapevine and Manilla Road (who you haven't heard of). I read 'classic' literature and poetry, as well as philosophy from 1800-1940. I also enjoy particular fantasy series.
Hobbies include photography (digital), reading, staring at interesting buildings, writing, and collecting quotes (some of my favorites are on my profile).
So there's a definition of me, although I imagine that most would prefer to know what I am like in actuality. Unfortunately that is subjective, so I cannot give a depiction. I'll just state that I follow rules, and respect others as I would like them to respect me.
