I am already paranoid if a vampire wants to look at me at night they can its totally fine with me. I dont do much at night anyway, pet my cat, watch a movie. Late night FOX is awesome because there is swearing!
TOTALLY RIVITING right?
Besides people from the ground can see into my apartment when the light is on so its like... W/E...
Lets see my first vampire encounter... it was a dark and stormy night...JUST KIDDING LAWLZ I cant even remember probably the totally lame dracula knock off costumes.
Dracula sucks I wont even read the book. He also might be a pimp which kinda makes up for the sucky ness (LAWLZ vampire puns)
the best part about the vampire concept is the philisophical aspect. Any meat eater could relate to taking lives for sustanence and yet we still distance oursleves enough to 'let someone else do the dirty work' where as the vampire must it themselves so we find them more 'foul', When in truth they just have the nads to do what the average so called sophisticated human cannot.
Random Note: Fangs are hooooottt....
The freedom from the binds of the human world yet the ability to manipulate it sends a fear into the psyce of the human. They to wish to obtain the ability to G-T-F-O of this world and yet return...
Plus the obvious predator prey switch. Often the vampire looses because humans wish to feel that if it where to come to that they have a chance in hell of winning. But in truth it is often those with exceptional human qualities such as more then average bravery, supernatural help (think Buffy) and such.
The only humans that can trully kill a vampire must actually bring themselves to a higher stage of character then before. The human must become more then human to kill a vampire. (I dunno about you but Im chicken s**t so my chances of successful vampire slaying are low)
Well anyway back more to the subject of stories and such of vampires, since main stream still refers to them as mythological, aurthors can take liberties after all Dracula is hardly the bible on vampire life style and orgin stories.
I am legand has one of my favorite types of vampire in the mordern age. A sort of genetic mutation that results in the human body in obtaining a stage of super humanness.
Also "Peeps" is amazing, Explaining the orgin of the vampire legand as a parasite inside the body altering the body to a state of super humanness to fend aganst ancient deep earth monsters (think Tremers) this cohabitation of host and parasite is fasinating to me.
Anyway there are many aspect that make vampire interesting and its almost more fun to compare interpertations of vampire with each other (Anne Rice vs. Stephenie Meyer much?) (BTW CLAUDIA SUCKS) no one is worse then the other and I like to give points for creativiity and such.
I'll go back to my hole now *slinks away*
