Ok I have been watching a live feed of Japanese Tv today (For fun) and was scanning though the channels and caught a dubbed over episode of 24. All I can say it was weird. I did not watch enough to see if it was bad or not but well, it sounds weird hearing another voice out of an actors mouth. It's quite different from animation where the voices don't bother me.

I'd love to see a Japanese dub of an English show... just to know what it sounds like.

Have not seen a dub of the Simpsons. Honestly I don't see how a comedy that relies so much on American humor can really work in Japanese. I have the same fears of the Boondocks Japanese dub I recently heard of.
Anyway I'm still getting the hang of the japanese TV feed I'm using. I'm getting use to the time difference. 24 was airing at like eleven at night (Nine in the morning to me) and such.
Also I'm Caught a few Japanese dubs for American movies. I saw one for "Burn after reading"(I think thats what it's called) It's just weird hearing movie stars and live action actors speaking talking in Japanese.
