Sprinkles panted softly as she looked up, smiling when Toxic came to her. "I was worried.... That you left me." she murmured, trying hard to move up so she could lean on him, but alas, it was no use. Her head strained, and then dropped, "I... fee..l... So heavy...." she mumbled.
She looked up again, eyes blurring in and out on Toxic's paws. Since when did the blue boy have red paws? She couldn't remember... She glanced up when Toxic moved over her, trying to see what he was looking that, even though her eyes were blurring in and out. There was another voice... It seemed like silk. Sprinkles tried to sit up again, and let out a whimper as she fell this time.
They were talking about an antidote? For what? Who was ill? She didn't understand! "Toxic.... To...xic..... I-I'm scared....d..." she murmured weakly. Sprinkles was getting a creeping feeling (from her legs up surprisingly enough) that it was her that needed the antidote...

Toxic's eyes softened and he leaned down close to Sprinkle's face. "No," he whispered. "I won't ever leave you." He was alarmed when she tried to move and he stroked her side with his tail, hoping to calm her. "That's alright." he told her, shooting a desperate look towards the spider. "It's okay... it'll be okay." his voice was still quiet but his words broke at the end in a silent sob.
Skellor sighed once more, moving around the two. "There is more truth to this cave than you would know. However, now that the snake is dead, both curse and blessing shall fall, leaving you and her the last to recieve the benediction." by then he had almost circled around them but he stopped by Sprinkles, raising a leg to stroke her fur. He blinked and turned to see Toxic's desperate look. He continued to ignore their sad and pitiful looks and carried on. "Did you not hear the snake? You must love her and be her mate from now on or the curse will kill her."

Sprinkles was calm, very calm, even when the foreign creature stroked her face... Well, as calm as a panicky girl could be. But when she heard that she was going to be killed.... "No!! I don't want.... Don't want to die!" she gasped out, suddenly struggling against the poison, unknowingly spreading it further. The kitzu hadn't heard anything but 'kill her', and now she was fighting.
Sprinkles managed herself onto her elbows before the poison affected the joint in her right shoulder and she gasped, collapsing to the ground again with a painful cry. "No... I can't die.... I... can't...." she sobbed, feeling weaker han before. Hey, was it just her or was everything getting....
...Darker....?
Sprinkles' eyes were desperately trying to close themselves, trying to put Sprinkles to sleep permanently. Although her spirit wished to live on, her body didn't. It didn't want to continue rotting.... "Toxic.... Please help me...." she slurred through her hiccups, trying hard to keep her eyes open.

"Don't worry Sprinkles, you won't die." Toxic murmured, saying the words more to himself than to her. "No, don't." he said, his voice rising, when she moved, trying to stop her. He knew a bit about poisons and, well, moving much didn't exactly help. He licked her nose, then closed his eyes, pressing his forehead against hers. Tears came and fell but he didn't reply. How could he...? What could he do to stop this?
Skellor watched the happenings, unmoved. It seemed the male really loved her but the poison had already spread too far. No matter. He figured he owed the blue one for helping him and he clambered onto the female easily with his long legs. They didn't seem to notice as the female's body would be numb where the poison spread and the male had his eyes closed. His eyes blinked, glancing around, before he leaned down to bite to female on her side. Usually, he could produce an acid to turn her insides into juices but the poison had almost completely overrun her system, making that useless. He drank in the poison, his body slowly growing larger with each drop. "Aahhh." he said, dragging his body to the floor in content. Poison was always delicious and he enjoyed drinking them immensely. It helped that his body was tolerant against all poisons. He rolled around some, deciding it would be a while before his body digested it all.

Sprinkles looked up at Toxic. He was... Crying for her? She leaned against him, nuzzling his forehead desperately, before she felt something poke into her. It was faint, but she definitely felt something..... Sprinkles could feel some of her energy returning, and it was odd.
She watched as a now fat spider moved off of her, and she felt one of her back legs twitch. It wasn't as green anymore. "Toxic! I-I feel better!" she went to stand, but there was still poison in her, and thus she collapsed again. Still it wasn't as bad. She looked up to Toxic, smiling as she nuzzled him affectionately.
She might survive! She might get through this, "Toxic, oh Toxic..... Is there an antidote? Any way I can get better all the way?" she asked both the spider and the other kitzu, panting slightly. She might live!

Toxic looked up at her words, surprised. The poison seemed to be fading but only by a little. He wasn't sure if he could believe it, though. Poison didn't just go away like that, even if the owner died. His eyes trailed across the floor to the now large spider. Ah. His train of thought was lost when Sprinkles fell and his pressed himself close to her. "Can't you get all the poison out?" he asked the spider frantically. "Or don't you have any friends who can help?" This spider seemed to like poison, maybe other spiders would like it as well.
Skellor sighed, trying to roll onto his legs. "No, I'm afraid not, unless you can keep her in a neutral state until the poison I just drank digests." he said, managing to roll onto his side. "There is an antidote, however. And I suppose you deserve to know what it is for helping me." he got onto his stomach and he tried dragging himself closer. Seeing as that didn't work as much, he settled for staying where he was, keeping the tips of his legs against the ground so it would look as if he were just standing. No need to be known for getting bloated easily. "The flowers." he said, using a leg to wipe some of the excess poison from his fangs. He signed when Toxic gave him a confused look. "You should know. You practically reeked of them when you came in. They're purple and located on a cliff about an hours away." He closed his eyes, wanting a nap. "You should start searching quickly if you want to save your friend in time." he said, dozing off.

Sprinkles looked up at Toxic again, and then to the spider.... Wait.... "The flowers! Toxic, there are some at home.... In my room. If Thistle is home, then you can ask him, and he'll get them for you!" Sprinkles was smiling. She might live! She could stay longer with Toxic!
She pressed her face to Toxic's again, "Please Toxic.... I'm sure Thistle be home. He can see in the dark.... Just tell him... What's going on, he'll understand...." she nuzzled him again, weakness filling her again. Crap... "Toxic... I.... I love you...." she mumbled softly, blushing deeply.
