So what are stats? Why are they important to you? Well stats are the basis for our in shop Currency, Whims, as well as the ability to get an elder whimsy.

Stats for the purpose of the shop are, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Strength, Charisma, and Constitution. Those of you that have played some Dungeons and Dragons will recognize the names.

Briefly, each stat controls something about your pet:

Intelligence: How adaptable your pet is, as well as how quickly he learns something.
Wisdom: How well your pet retains knowledge he learns and applies it to things around him.
Dexterity: How well your pet manages situations involving feats of balance, tumbling, and other acrobatic feats.
Strength: How strong your pet it. This is also a score we would look at when looking at things like stamina.
Charisma: How well your pet gets along with other pets. How likable or recognizable he is.
Constitution: How healthy your pet is. If you rolled a low score your pet might be a little on the sickly side.

These scores will sometimes be used in games as well. For increasing a % to win a race for instance. Stats aren't just used to measure eldership, we will be incorporating them into the shop in many different ways.

So how do you get your starting stats?
You'll be checking the posts below and using the kynd that your pet is to generate the starting stats. Each kynd starts out with a different number.

So what's 100%?
100% is when your pets stats reach the number 50. We are keeping this system easy to use and we generated the currency idea so people will continue to gain benefits even if they don't want elders OR after they have obtained an elder.

So what's the formula you use then?
10 posts of RP will equal 2 Whims and 6 Stat points (1 for each stat). Staff will be keeping an offline log that will allow us to track points, however users may do so as well. Any cheating with the numbers and the person loses the points they 'added' and an additional 5. Pets can not go into negative numbers but can go to zero.

[F.A.Q]

Q: Is this per pet?
A: Yes. You'll roll stats for each pet.

Q: Can my stats go to anyone?
A: No. Just the Pet that you were Rping with. If you are using multiple pets those posts will count towards each pet. However if you are using multiple pets you still only get the 2 Whims for each 10 posts of RP.

Q: Do the dice rolls have to be in idividual posts?
A: No, you can roll 8 d8's and distribute the bonuses as you like. There is no set 'order' from the rolling.

Q: What if I don't want to use a bonus?
A: The just discard one of the six numbers you rolled. That roll just doesn't do anything for the pet because essentially you are adding 0.

Q: Can I add two rolls to one stat?
A: No. The max is one roll to one stat. You can choose not to use the extra points, but you can't add more than one roll to each stat.

Q: Where do we roll?
A: Please roll all stats here, to make it easier to track!

Q: Wait! I hate these stats!
A: I'm sorry. However it's based on luck and dice. There is NO rerolling stats you don't like. RP to change them but you cannot roll more than once per pet.

Q: Where do I put these stats?
A: Please display these stats somewhere in your journal. This way a staff can go in and update them regularly.

Everkynd pets start with a base stat of 15 + d10.

So for example you would roll a D10, six times and add the results to your stats. Giving you a stat anywhere from 16 to 25 for your pet.
