Wow, my first topic here!
I've played World of Warcraft for several years, and up until a week ago I'd never tried bothering modifying the game's default user interface. I always thought it was really ugly and took up WAY too much of the game window than was necessary. Here's an example of the default UI; also, this is not me, just something I randomly found with Google image search: Default WoW UI
Seeing how much I love steampunk, combined with that my character is an engineer (what else would she be? wink ), I decided to make myself a steampunk UI. The art was all done in Photoshop, and I used a number of game addons to change the default appearances of everything and move stuff around: KGPanels, Skinner, DaPortrait, Move Anything!, AG Unitframes, and Clearfont. The screenshot.
If any of my fellow guild members have such an interest in modifying their game interface, I would be more than happy to point you in the directions needed to do so. While slightly confusing and a little time consuming at first, it was overall really fun to do and to figure out. wink
