We're getting the pretty version of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories!
Meaning...
The PS2 version!
With the pretty cut scenes!
And voice actors!

I know! whee It's the best news I've heard in a long time. Of course it happens relatively soon after I buy a DS in large part for the game, but seriously, Re: is definitely worth it.
I guess the topic's OK. I've been a little iffy on the subject myself. The main page does mention Kingdom Hearts, but in reality it's very rarely mentioned here. I love it myself, so I could do with a bit more discussion. 3nodding

If only we got Final Mix+ with it... I wonder why they didn't. It's not like it would be much extra cost, I don't think.

Well, I didn't even think we'd ever get Re:CoM, so I'm not going to question them for a while.
But I'd really enjoy Final Mix+...

But I'd really enjoy Final Mix+... Me too, I've seen clips and screen shots of the final mix versions(yes there are two, one for each PS2 originals released in the US) And they look SO AWESOME!! It almost makes me wish I had Japanese PS2 and a way to translate the game or speak and read Japanese(although I know some characters translated into english not much).

Yeah, but so long as you already know the story, you can get through OK. I mean all of the new scenes are voiced in English, so you could follow them well enough. Yet another reason it should be released here.

I only found about this a week ago, but I already pre-ordered it on amazon.
Between this & Persona 4, this should satisfy my PS2 Rpg fix for a while.

i played it for the gba it was fun, just wasn't what i was expecting.
can you recommend any good ps2 rpg games?

A couple of good games for the ps2 that are Rpg if you don't mind them note being square is Star Ocean till the end of time (directors cut same price more to do.) , Megaman Command Mission, and Wild Arms 3 is also really good.
