The goal here is to create an avatar and a story that tie together. Your avatar can be made either using your own items or through tektek. it doesn't really matter since we're not voting on the avatar alone, but rather the combination of it and the avatar. Both have their advantages. Tektek allows access to unlimited items, while using your own avatar allows you to pose your character, a lot can be said for body language! It's your call.
Your story should tie in closely with the character. For example, my avatar has an elf, a horse and a rabbit in the woods. You'd probably want to explain what was going on in the picture. You don't have to address individual items though. If you want to make a terrifying demon and write about his torment of wandering the earth, do so. The only thing is that your story has to have at least 150 words (1 paragraph) can't be any more than 500 words (around 3 paragraphs). The goal is to be creative! Be sure to include the picture of your avatar when you submit it!
All Avatar Stories must be submitted by October 25, 2008 at 11:59 pm. Either post them yourself in the Contest Forum under "Avatar Story Contest" or PM your entry to Aloreina and she'll post it for you. Late entries, no matter how awsome, won't be accepted. Last, but not least, we must have at least 3 participants before one of the grand prize is given out. If three or less participants enter, the grand prize will not be given out to anyone and will be kept for a later contest.
