History: Born to a pair of strays, Devin stayed with his little family until he reached adolescence, when the abandoned building they lived in was set aflame. Some young humans thought it would be funny to set fire to the condemned house, and sent the dogs and rats running. Devin became separated from his family then, not knowing where they'd gone or if they'd even escaped the building at all.
He ran with a make-shift pack for a while, a group of different breeds and similar ages. Despite his size, Devin was always one of the swiftest of the group, but one day their goal was too large, and several of them were caught and brought to the city pound. Devin was quickly adopted by a large man, given a halter, and trained mercilessly alongside other Dachshunds. ~~
