[ Home Life: ] Born in Mir, Belarus, Anasazi Szabina Ciarevna du Marquis was soon moved to Kirkwall, Ireland.
[ Dad: ] Ciar Marion du Marquis, age 41. Ciar works at the Ministry in the Goblin Liaison Department but spends a lot of time at home, taking care of his younger kids while Demeter works full-time. Ciar was a Slytherin when he was in school.
[ Mom: ] Demeter Analea Hampton-du Marquis, age 38. Muggleborn Ravenclaw who’s worked for the last two years overseas full-time as the successor to her mother, Anestasia Geneva Brooks-Hampton, ’s Muggle job in Australia.
[ Siblings: ] Anatoliy Jasper du Marquis, second year Ravenclaw; Anita Nuria du Marquis, five years old, and Neil Sebastieen du Marquis, three years old.
[ Diving Deeper: ] Anasazi is a little heavier than most girls and kind of insecure, but she doesn’t show it. Because of this, she has abysmal self-esteem and insecurities, which carried on with her through her childhood, and now, as a teenager, she tries her best to keep her siblings from that same fate. Anasazi is a slightly unconventional Hufflepuff in that she isn't the kindest or strangest or most loyal around. She wouldn't help just anyone that came trotting along asking for a favour, and some say she would be just as well off in Slytherin. She is as bothered by this as she would be if they said the same about Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, which is saying something. There is no place else she'd rather be than Hufflepuff, which makes her one of Hufflepuff House's prides and joys. Needless to say, she came as a humongous disappointment to her family, which may fuel her loyalty towards her House.
[ Taking A Closer Look: ] Anasazi opened the door to the History of Magic room. She poked her head in and looked to see if anyone was inside the…abandoned room. She heard some sniffles from behind Professor Binns’ desk and dropped her book on a desk in the back as she tiptoed to the front of the room. She stretched over the top of the desk, disregarding all papers. Gasping at the sight of her younger brother Anatoliy crouched underneath the desk, she inhaled sharply and bit her lip, debating whether or not to do anything. She ripped out a page from her book, wrote him a little note, and decided to leave it at that.
