+PERSONALITY+ Aika is a a happy recluse and more than a little mad. She is adequate in everything she does, but lacks the interest to push anything toward her full potential. Due to this fact, no one is quite sure just how intelligent -- or not -- she really is. Aika firmly believes the world to be a horrible, horrible place full of horrible, horrible things. Yet despite that, she remains a horribly happy girl -- you'd
have to be somewhat mad to maintain that kind of mentality.
Aika has the ability to hear the voices of the dead that have left significant impressions upon this world (ghosts, most would call them). If those impressions are close by, she will hear them just like one would any normal, living passerby. Aika has been subconsciously employing this ability for as long as she could remember, and so assumed hearing voices to be "normal" for a very long time, while everyone else just assumed she had an overactive imagination and way too many imaginary friends. It wasn't until middle school that the possibility of it being
abnormal occurred to her. By that point, however, Aika had already grown to be quite...strange.
Most people do not consider Aika to be old enough to pass credible judgment on the world, though, so her views are rarely taken seriously.
Not that she cares.
