Sander smiled up at his daddy and puffed his chest out, "sure have daddy! See doesn't she look nice! She let me groom her today!" He said overly proud of himself for taking care of his mommy and being allowed to groom her.
Serenity smirked at Sander but fought laughing as to not hurt his feelings. When Sadie came over to her she smiled brightly down at her daughter and leaned down and nuzzled the top of her head, "hello to you too sweetie".

Stripes chuckled as he sat down, "Very good job squirt, you did a good job! I hope you haven't gotten into too much trouble lately." he said with a small wink.
Sadie wagged her tail more as she looked up at her mother, "Hey Mama, I've missed you and Sander!" she declared.

Sander cocked to his head to the side as he looked at his daddy as if to say 'who me?', before shaking his head, "nah. Not too much trouble daddy. There are too many people watching me for me to be able to get into trouble."
"I've missed you both as well," Serenity replied before picking up her daughter and lying down to give her a bath.

Sadie kept still when she got her grooming because she actually liked to be clean. Only thing about baths she never liked was when she got too dirty and had to get wet with cold water.
"Well, I am sure you can find some time to get into a little trouble every once in a while!" he said with a smile.

"Of course he does, he's just like his father." Serenity replied before Sander could try to deny getting into trouble, because he was just as mischievous as Stripes had been when they first met. When she finished with Sadie's bath she let her daughter go after nuzzling her head.
"Heeyyyy!" Sander whined at his mom. "It's not like I mean to find trouble..." He said sitting down with a huff. But when she said that he was like his daddy he could help but grin tail wagging happily.

Stripes had to chuckle at that, shaking his head and then standing back up, "I really wish I could stay, but I promised my father I would drop Sadie off with you and then come back to help him and Reign with something. I'll probably only be gone for a couple of hours at the most, so I will come right back." he said in reassurance.
Sadie nuzzled her mother back and then hopped up to stand and shook her fur out. She looked to her daddy and nodded, having already known he would have to leave for a little while. She pouted for a bit before they had left in search of her mother and brother, but she knew her daddy would be back.

At Stripes announcement Serenity stopped wagging her tail, but tried her best not to show that she was saddened by the fact that he was leaving. Getting up she walked over and nuzzled him, "hurry back Stripes," she said softly to him.
"Awww daaaadddd," Sander whined when Stripes said he wasn't staying. "Do you really have to goooo??" He said going over and pawing at his daddy.

He gave Serenity an apolgetic smile and nuzzled the top of his sons head, "Yes I do, but like I said, I will be back. So you make sure you take care of your mom and sister while I am gone, ok?" he said. He then turned and trotted away.
"Bye Daddy!!" she called out, waving a small paw as she watched him depart.

He puffed up his chest at being given a job by Stripes, "sure thing daddy!" She said proud that he was given the task to watch after his mom and sister and after Stripes left he started taking 'patrol' around the area that they were in.
Serenity couldn't help but laugh slightly at how cute Sander was without trying to be. When Stripes left she laid back down on the ground tail wrapping around herself while she watched her two children.
