So, as of today, its been confirmed that Johnny Depp has signed up for 3 more films.
Pirates 4
The Lone Ranger (as Tonto)
and
Alice in Wonderland (as the Mad Hatter)
oh and Alice in Wonderland is being directed by Tim Burton.

Anna showed me pictures. It might be tolerable.
I'm still puzzled by the ship in the shoot, but whatever.
I joked with Anna that Pirates 4 and Alice in Wonderland will be one and the same.

Lulu is super excited about the new Alice in Wonderland, but the news of a fourth POTC is slightly unnerving. In Lulu's opinion they should have stopped after #1. It was a great movie and the sequels ruined it. stare
As for AiW, Lulu couldn't be more thrilled! 4laugh She absolutely lurves Tim Burton/Johnny Depp collaborations. whee And what's even better is that it's Alice in Wonderland! Lulu obsesses over AiW. She owns twelve copies of the book, she writes AiW based poetry, and she designs AiW based costumes. If this movie is any good (which she's sure it will be) she's buying it the second it comes out. heart

I liked the costumes for Sweeny Todd, but I think the only reason I liked the movie is because I was fond of the play to begin with.
I will give it a chance. But I have a feeling it will draw more unwanted fanatic attention to Alice in Wonderland than Gwen Steffani... with her mispronunciation of the Japanese language and belief that Harajuku as being the whole of Japanese culture.
I love Alice in Wonderland, and even if Burton ******** it up people will still eat that s**t up because Johnny Depp is in it. And "Ohmygawd! This is lyke, so dark, and original! Totally a new interpretation of Alice!"
I'm protective of Alice, if you hadn't noticed.
