Ever like a band or artists and then there's a long lull in their career?
I was listening to my old Evanescence Origin CD today and I started to think about what made them so great to the crapfest they are (were) now/were at the end. Ben Moody made them heavy, then I remembered an article in Guitar world i read about his debut album going out in a few months and that was like 4 years ago.

Bands that were good, but now they aren't good anymore, or had a long period where they weren't good.
I didn't really care for the mid-period Candlemass that I've heard. I don't particularly care for the style of the newer Against Nature albums. Sepultura started out great, but went downhill afterward.

In honesty I think most bands generally get worse as they move forward

Celtic guardian91 In honesty I think most bands generally get worse as they move forward True, but I guess this is for the ones that have a big difference between the good and bad.

WOW completely got the point wrong. From now on let's let the thread maker explain the point of the thread.
Ever like a band and then they completely disapear? No albums anymore and one is left wondering "what happened?"

Boris, usually they have multiple full-lengths a year, but they only have one in the last two years.
