(( i know this doesnt go here but i dont know where to put it, but i want to share it D: ))

In little old Montezuma, Georgia we have a little town known as the Mennonite Community.

What is a Mennonite you may ask?

They are a sect of Amish who we know live without electricity, traditionally do not drive cars, and live their life solely to prepare for the afterlife.

The specific family i am speaking of are the Yoders, who own a bed and breakfast in the country South Georgia area ^^
They are farmers and you basically live the farm life for a weekend or however long you choose with home cooked meals and milking cows.

I thought this would be interesting to post since i've always been interested in the Amish and wondered if i was alone XD

* Have you met any Amish?

* Have you spent time on an Amish farm?

* Could you, would you live this lifestyle?

I haven't actually met an Amish myself or spent time on an Amish farm. Though I find their way of living interesting, I personally wouldn't live my life soley to prepare for the afterlife, as I don't believe in one.

Ohhh, I adore the Amish! They are such kind and courtious people! ^^ I have never met one personally because I have never lived in a community anywhere near any Amish. I believe it would be a wonderful life to live, but I am already infected and addicted to to the technological lifestyle, so it is, no doubt, never anything I would be able to pull off at this point in time.
