The characters are amazing and easily recongzisble (Sp?). The animation is beautiful and the plot is interesting.
What I hate about it=My friend in real life's interest in it. She can't even get the title right. Oh! And Mikiru...she's annoying.

I spent the morning at AnimeExpo, and saw more Haruhi's than any other character. Last year it was all Inuyasha's and Ranma's...
Anyway, I love the show, and have it queued up to play on my computer in chronological order, which gives the story a different angle -- the baseball game, for instance, takes place a few months after what was broadcast as the last episode!
There's a second season out, and I'm not sure where to get it (we don't have a TV; no room in our apartment).
