Yeah, but it's basically just another "daily free whatever" feature. Most of what you get is useless; leveling up seems to be random and you have to have a REALLY high level to get anything good, of course.
I can't figure out the battledome either. :P Although my Peophin lab rat would probably do better than the Bori I was originally training.

Bassically, there's some events on Neopets that give you a freebie on a daily basis. The fishing game is one of them.
You can level up your neopets to fight in the battledome.
And the Peophin is a particular type of neopet.
