I was thinking about it while at work and I was just like "What would Fire Emblem smell like?" o_o; Think about it. What if you could give each character a SMELL for when they attacked? Okay so it's kind of lame. But I had like 3 full hours of doing absolutely nothing but folding scarves, so thinking about what characters would smell like used at least a little bit of my brain.

... Oh man, this made me laugh.
What would Fire Emblem smell like... Grass comes to mind. Or that smell after a rain storm.
(... I'm strange I know.)
It's hard to assign a scent to a game that has so much change in location, though.

Ummm. I think it'd smell like antiques. Not like it's going to make you sneeze, but...what some older buildings smell like. You know. >w>; Or maybe we can just go for the smell of iron...

Fire Emblem would smell of blood and rotting corpses with a hint of burning vegetation and sub-human fur.

To be quite honest, that is the most stupid part I've ever heard. I'm okay with the seeing, hearing, and touching. But for the smell, it's ridiculous. What's next? Taste? I don't think so.
The only problem I see is that the game system can't give off the scent forever. It's going to wear off soon like the scratch-and-sniff stickers or the fruit-smelled markers. In addition, depending on what type of genre the game is, it will be difficult to change the scent. For example, how will you get the scent of a city to plain field? It's impossible to make it happen.
As for "What Fire Emblem will smell like?", it will be hard for me to figure out. I think for forest, meadow, and plain will be grass. The desert would be hot humility of the air. Fog and rain would be the after rain air. The town would have a smell of bread or delicious food cooking. As for inside the castle..... I don't know. sweatdrop

Yeah, I would say it would be a mix of like... sweat and iron overall.
I'm not too huge a fan of the idea overall, I do think it's funny though. I know way too many people who will go out and buy it though. XD

Fire Emblem? Smells like burning plastic. Or burning anything else you can incorporate with the game.
Me, personally, would think it smells like body odor and death. They never shower, you must know. And they don't have blood. Only Hector is cool enough to have blood.

Zelym Fire Emblem? Smells like burning plastic. Or burning anything else you can incorporate with the game. I would say it will only happens if you play the game too long or you have a defected game system.
