You know, water and feline creatures aren't exactly the best combination. Not for the verdant pelted Feli atleast. He was one for long strolls along the lush green paths in the forest. Lovey Dovey? Not really, but eh, you'd get the impression of it.
The truth was, Akamu had the greatest fear of water you could ever imagine! And when it came time when fruits lacked in surplus, and other foods were out, fish were the only thing decent enough to eat. Ears flattened, as the wings shifted slightly. 'Forget it' Aka said to himself, moving away from the water. If he wasn't lazy, he'd look for food rather then sitting around, moping. But, eh, boys will be boys.

Larien, for one, wasn't for long walks at all. She much rather perfered those short walks. And that was what she was taking now, a short walk through the woods. Her body swayed in almost a musical manner, like she was dancing while walking. Her eye lids were half shut, a slight smirk on her maw. It gave her a very impish look. Or maybe just drugged.
Her tail flicked and slowly Akamu came into site. Boys will be boys indeed. Her grin widened breifly, before going back to normal. Her foot steps were mostly silent, luckily for her. "Afraid of a little water, boy?" She giggled, teasing.

Startled, Akamu jumped to his feet, yellow eyes narrowing as Larien approached. Did others always have to sneak up on him? Another thing he hated. "What's it to you," He sneered, backing away from the cobalt pelted feline, and overall, away from the water. His movements were quick, obviously just by those you could tell he hated the clear blue tinted liquid.
...So if he really wanted to keep it a secret from strangers, he wasn't doing a great job on it.

A slight giggle slipped from her mouth, and she continued her slow walk toward him, even as he backed up. She raised a brow, glancing to the liquids. "It's just a question to me." She murmered, watching him from the corner of her eye as she still looked to the water.
Her ear flicked slightly. "You're jumpy; I like that." She was teasing, mostly. He was a handsom enough fellow, but it was more fun to tease than actually compliment others.

"I'm not jumpy" Akamu muttered, sounding more like a whine. "And its not a very good question to start out with, if I may say so myself." He nodded, matter-o-factly. "Usually...its more of a question of... How are you, or more importantly," He shifted slightly, "Who...are you?" He smirked. "I'm Akamu," He nodded his head lightly. "Or Aka for short." Even though his whole name was short, others found it rather long to say. Blame the laziness!

She snorted, a jumper as well as a whiner, grand. She turned her full attention to him, and slowly sat. Her tail curled about her small paws, and she arched a brow. "But what fun are those questions?" She grinned.
Akamu, eh? She'd have to try hard to remember that, she was terrible with names. "Larien." She said, simply. "And you can call me anything if it's not a shortened version of my name." She'd let him figure that out. "So, why you out here by you lonesome, tryin' to gather up courage to get into the water?" She smirked.

Aka rolled his eyes as she arched her brow. "I didn't say they were fun, now did I?" He smirked, getting tired of standing. Once seated, he continued to speak, stopping once she started talking again. "I think I'll just stick with Larien." It was an easy name, nothing you could really get confused by.
His lip upped lightly, as if flabbergasted by her remark. "No!" He said, rather haughtly. "I just felt like...being away?" He shrugged. "Besides, I was hungry. And don't feel like scavenging around for anything. So the next best thing was fishing."

She giggled at this and rolled her eyes. "So why are you sittin' here, talkin' with pretty lil' me instead of fishing?" She grinned at this, ear flicking. She was looking at him how a cat watched a mouse, it was kind of creepy. Her tail flicked a little, tuff dragging along the dirt and some fallen leaves. After a moment her gaze flicked to the water again, and she rose, headed over that way.

"No...fish?" He lied, making up an excuse quickly. His golden eyes watched as she moved towards the water. "Lemme guess, you're are one of those Felis who absolutely adore...water." He shuddered slightly. He arched a brow at her gaze. That sort of predator hunting prey look wasn't to appealing. Nope, not at all.

She snorted, no fish indeed! Well it would be amusing to make a fool of him. Getting to the water's edge she leaned over the surface, peering in. "No fish, you say? And I do not adore water." She'd go in it if she had to, but she liked a warm sun bath more than a dip in a lake or pond any day.
