___Today I am sick with a virus that has eighty random symptoms that people could get. I got a runny nose and the urge to puke. So I am staying home from school, doing my AP Art History work and trying to pick some good names for my characters in Cold Iron. Aurelius is definitely going to be my main's name, Soterios is probably gonna be the antagonist. Viviana and Cassia are two names I like as well... Umm, still no words - but I did find some good quotes ^^

I hope to get a few things up here soon; I have Creative Writing this year, so I have about fifty minutes a day to get in some writing on my otherwise occupied days - it totally rocks; although I do have assignments to do every now and then - I can usually bring them into my story surreptitiously. Except 'The Impossible Paragraph' - 100 word paragraph that doesn't repeat anything (including 'the', 'a', 'of', etc.)

xxx I'm having a burst of creative juices; don't think too hard about that sentence. It is about forty-six minutes past midnight and I really should be going to bed, but I need to document some of these ideas. Aurelius, my aforementioned main, should be a part of my new evil scheme to incorporate silly little myths and cartoon anecdotes into my story. Consider: Aurelius means gold - the antagonist comes to terms with his sexuality before he gets with Aurelius. Meaningless joke: 'rainbow' - 'gold'. Leprechauns are kind of faerie-like... I'm sure I could get them into this story some how. Maybe Aurelius could be leprechaun-y. I dunno; I'm keeping it here just in case I find a way to use that. Additionally; the twin-shapeshifters-who-are-forced-to-turn-whenever-their-twin-does (could suck if one was having sex, really, but that's okay): shoulder conscious. You know, the 'devil' and the 'angel' that pop up on your shoulder and fight over what is right and what is wrong; the devil usually wins. I can see this going down.

OMG HAY VIRGO. I'm a virgo too! But I pretend to be a leo/pisces.... I don't know how that works, but put it all together and I'm pretty damn crazy. To clarify, I was born on August 28th, the cusp of Virgo and Leo, and my moon sign is pisces. I'm obnoxious like a virgo, confused like a pisces and arrogant like a leo (but not an aries! >_>). I love aquarius, though. They're all so smart and charming *girly sigh*
Anyway... YOU HAVE TO POINT ME TO HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD. I have the first two chapters but I seem to have lost track of it since then. And have you ever heard of Alice 19th? I dig that manga.
I love how much thought you seem to put into the names of your characters and mythology; I do the same thing! My friends all make fun of me, but I can't help it. It's just way too fun, right? For instance, when I was your age, I thought I might jump into the main stream and try to incorporate some Arthurian legend into one of my stories. I eventually settled on throwing my main characters into a ship called the "Ddraig Goch", which is Welsh for Red Dragon, and then I named the people who were coming after them (they're a mob-like entity) "Weißen Dracken", which is German for White Dragon. I'm currently considering changing the last name of my main to "Cadwaller" which is what the Welsh call their flag. smile

Virgo Power! I'd have to say I love Scorpio (I keep wanting to say Scorpius... stupid Harry Potter epilogue); but that is because my boyfriend is one, so I feel obligated. Otherwise, I am totally down in that hot Aquarius scene... well, actually, I totally dig Ophiuchus - but that was never included in the zodiac (even though it is a zodiac constellation), so I can't use it. Curses.
I think I read Highschool of the Dead on onemanga.com; although I can't say for sure - it was totally amazing and needs to be licensed ASAP. And as for the names, I do it often - more often than not, as I mostly write epic fantasies, the characters have names of mythological beings... which leads to them sleeping with whomever they slept with in the myth, and having otherwise similar tales/relations... except perhaps Egyptian. I usually twist that with a bunch of step-half-in law nonsense to avoid proper incest.
I adore sleep, but... having to get up for school at 5:00 and not being able to get to sleep until at least 10:00 does make one used to a certain lack of it; especially when I am doing Stage Crew - I won't get to sleep until 2:00 AM at the very least towards the end of the quarter. And yet somehow I end up doing more writing during those sorts of times; I think it's because I can just write on my arm or my pants just to kill the boredom; but some of my best passages have been awkwardly written on the round of my elbow, if I do say so myself.

The twins shall be Viviana and Cassia, as I love my twins and I love those names. My stock names are Drusilla, Acadia, Lucilla, Faustus, Caelestis, and Leontius - more to come, as I will probably have more characters who are inevitably named... Behindthename is my personal writing Holy Spirit. Wikipedia is Jesus, those awesome pens with eight different color ink-tubes in them that last forever are God... Gaia is probably my False Prophet, but oh well.

Ahaha. If I had my way, I would stay up till 3AM every night and sleep until noon. Someday, the world will know the joy of being awake at night and sleeping like a sleep glutton of doom. Or something biggrin .

Oh I know, there must be a community of people out there somewhere where school, shops, restaurants, and the like are open from 9:00 PM to 10:00 AM (well, perhaps not the school... I don't think I could deal with that irregardless of the time of day); noon for the hip and cool clubs where the kids go. And if there isn't... I'll write about one and hope my book becomes popular enough that somebody goes out there and builds one; or I do it myself with my new found riches. Whichever.

I have had SO much homework this weekend, it is really uncool. I had to read the Tale of Genji, do four response questions on it (still have not done this), do a quick report on the Temple of Ramses II, look up a current event for Forensics, respond to said current event (still have not done), read Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad... and make six puppets for Humanities of Gilgamesh characters (I did Gilgamesh, Enkidu, Ishtar, Shamhat, Humbaba, and the Bull of Heaven - they all sucked a lot of a**).
Anyway, Faustus and Drusilla will be a couple in my story, and Faust shall probably be mute, or perhaps just not inclined to talk. Both play the piano, and they probably kissed before they ever truly 'spoke' (or any equivalent) to one another.
