money grubing Fuji_hobo_jacket Washington Assessment of Student Learning. Or something to the degree. xP Passed it when I had to take it. IMO, make fun of the essays as much as possible. I got one prompt that was like 'Your house is on fire and you have to get out. Any family members/pets are safe, and you can only choose one thing to take with you. What will you choose, and why?' My answer: Fire Hose. So that my house doesn't burn down. I still passed it. lol hahahahahhhahh! Nice. I rembember that one! My friend put down his school textbooks.

I didn't even complete the WASL. At the time I had lived in Oregon until that point and thought "I already took state testing!"
So I just sat around the entire time during the writing portion and cut out of the math portion when we got a break.
I know some of you are glaring and going "He's an idiot" but the next semester I was back in Oregon anyway and the WASL didn't really matter by then.

hell the year after i graduated high school my school made it so that if you didnt pass that wasl test you didnt get to graduate... which meant that everyone in the academic support classes and special ed classes got screwed. but that was a few years ago and i havnt bothered checking back on that so it might not be that way anymore, since preventing about 50 students from graduating because they have learning disabilities wouldnt be right

Lol- I wonder how often they use it...
I said I'd grab my mother's journal full of our family lineage that she's been researching. It'd just be a shame to have to look that stuff up again. Full of old pictures that can't be replaced and the like.

If you plan on going to College, then consider the WASL the easiest test you'll ever take. They keep dumbing it down every year because it'll make scores look better (i.e. makes the politicians who came up with it look like they are getting s**t done). These people need to get it through their heads that tests are an assessment of learning, not the means to an end. If they want to approve education then they should get rid of the WASL, and restructure the education system to make it more hands on and teacher friendly.
