Charming had been resting curled behind a latge log when he heard the sound of small trotting feet. Not being all that of an excitable dragon he lifter his head and simply sniffed. Whatever it was he could likely either fight it off it wasn't freindly or eat it if was prey.
His first sniff told him it was a dragon. A small dragon from the sound of the foot steps. A second sniff had him recognize the scent of little Lucy. A young dragon he'd taken to caring for recently. She was cute and seemed to need a friend. And she tolerated him and his melancholy. What was the harm in taking care of her while she was away from her mother? At least she offerend some distraction.
"You're going to have to try harder if you want to learn to sneak up on things little one. That and learn to walk so your sent is taken away by the wind. Not only can I hear you but I can smell you."

The little ball of white fluff with orange stripes let out a pout, she never was any good at sneaking up on things, her siblings always caught her out long before she got near to pouncing. Today she'd decided to seek out Charming in fact she'd come to a place she'd met him previously and followed his familiar scent to here, with a quick sniff of herself she pondered and a small click happened in her head. Lucy realised that though she couldn't smell anything different on herself that she would to others indeed have a scent as they did to her and if she could semi-seek out the others by their scent she must of been an easy target to follow.
"Ooops..." she exclaimed and she looked about and climbed the log, peering over with a escalated smile "You'll have to teach me, Char!" Giggling she shifted her weight and made her way up and over the log, unfortunately loosing her balance and tumbling down into Charming.

He oofed loudly when she landed on him. Really he hadn't expected her to climb over the log. But now she'd landed in a heap in the center of the ring he'd made out of him body. "Comfy?", he managed to wheeze before uncurling himself a bit so she wasn't lying on top of him. Quietly he straitened himself out and stretched. He realized he'd been being lazy for far too long. Perhaps it would be fun to alt least attempt to teach Lucy a new skill. Even if wasn't sure how good he'd be at it.
"I suppose I could teach you how to sneak. I'm no the greatest hunter that ever was but perhaps I know more than you little Lucy. Why would you like me to teach you?"

With her padded landing it wasn't long before she was back on her feet and nuzzling against Charming's cheek, she was always pleased to see him. See Charming was her friend, she didn't have to share him and it seemed only her sister knew that they were friends, she liked it that way, Lucy's little secret. Once she was finished with the nuzzled greeting she pondered briefly thinking back to why exactly she would be so poor at this sneaking stuff.
"Your better than me! I think... Because Mama and Papa only take me hunting to watch sometimes when I need to snack. I never really got to practice, So Great hunter Charming" She smirked and looked him in the eyes with a slight puppy eyed expression "Won't you teach little Lucy how to be as good as you?"

He thoroughly enjoyed the nuzzling. It was all to nice to have something affectionate in ones life. She was all too much like a little sister or daughter. Cute and oh so frisky and willing to learn. That and she seemed to be enjoying stoking his ego and making him grin. "I suppose I could teach you want I know. But first lets go find something for you to chase. Do you know of a good butterfly spot or perhaps were a lizard lives?" He supposed he'd teach her the proper way to lay walk for sneaking on the way.

"Hmm.." Lucy began to ponder, where had she seen lizards before, the long slithery things, the ones with legs... "Oh I know!" Lucy turned and headed towards the family camp, just out by a tree where Charming had met her once, she vaguely remembered playing with one there. If there was one there had to be more right?
As she padded into the shade of the tree she sniffed around, what did Lizards smell like? She couldn't see one... but this was the only place she'd observed one before...
