I have 1gb of ram and apparently its not enough.. >_> It laggs whenever I try to use a sparkly brush D=

..You mean PS CS3?
Who ever told you that is an idiot. 1 GB is more than enough for PS.
Unless you're running 50 programs at once..
I have 1 GB, and it handles Firefox, iTunes, CS3, MSN, Steam, and some others running at the same time without problems.

oh..i now know why =_= Its cuz there was a virus scan, an optimiser, music and streaming video trying to run at the same time... >_>
That or i have to defrag my ram =_=

That might be.
If you mean the virus scanner actually scanning...That takes a shitload of memory.
Also, that'd be defrag-ing your harddrive, not RAM lol.

I'm still on CS2... as if I have a few hundred around to upgrade when I have a perfectly working version of CS2 anyways..
And when I still had the stock 1 GB of ram my mac came with the only time I would lag is when I had no less than 6-7 programs running at the same time...
So you should check what programs are taking up all your ram when it lags again.
