I'm writing a paper about archebacteria, and I can't find a good site to research about them.
What I know so far:
~They're prokaryotic
~They can live in extreme environments
What I need to know:
+How do they...+
~get nutrients?
~preform digestion?
~preform respiration?
~maintain homeostasis?
~preform excretion?
~grow?
~move materials within their bodies?
~move around?
~reproduce?
~Make complex chemicals from simpler ones?

If you know anything it would be very helpful.

The only ones I've worked with is a salt loving one. I believe they preform Anaerobic respiration for the most part, simply because of the environment they are found in.

Thanks! I've been mostly writing about thermophiles because they use chemosynthesis, but I could use that too.

I'm in Bio (8th grade High Honors) so tis might not help you...
All I know is that archeabateria reproduce by splitting(i think)
and that they use the ribosomes in within thier membranes to transport(i think)
this may not be totally acurate but thats what i remeber from last year...
we didnt really go into it in deatail then (7th grade sweatdrop )

All I remember is that it was spelled "Archaebacteria" not "Archebacteria"

Try Googling it? ^-^ I remember learning about them in biology, but I can't quite remember everything, since I'm so busy with anatomy and physiology now.

Archaebacteria reproduce asexually.
There's a lot of processes regarding how they gain food.
I've mostly forgotten it.
